Thank you S/D

I"ll be up early to check this out TY

just intime! my mp3 player just broke lol

wish it stacked with 5% off

Trying to replicate the 15% Newegg deal.

Anything good? I'm trying to check out RAM and Video Cards, but it doesn't seem like Buy have anything particularly interesting.
Any suggestions?

When it is activated? ET time? Do not understand what this mean "only as long as the Buy.com website indicates that the $15 Cash Back promotion is available." Where can we see this "15 Cash Back"? Has anyone tried?

i tried it recently and needed to cancel my order.

I am ET zone guy.
Buy.com & paypal.com is usin PT zone

Oh poop...I just bought from them yesterday

this is active now. the "get $15 Cash Back" is displayed under the paypal button at checkout.
thanks op!

I think he/she means order confirmation. I placed an order about 30 mins ago too and no confirmation email (from Buy.com) and no transaction at paypal so ??? ah well patience.

Well, I was putting in the order when I saw that buydotcom was charging tax on the sale. (Even though the order is for an out of state seller, their marketplace blah blah thing). For me, that took half the $15, and with shipping basically ruined the deal.

Good luck for those able to take advantage of the deal.

just spent $88 and didn't use it tyop!

LIMIT TWO OFFERS!!

Fine print says max of $30 back from Paypal. You should be able to use this twice on two seperate orders of $75+ if you so choose! YMMV

so what hot deals are there to use this on?

Will transactions with "Marketplace" sellers on Buy.com count towards the $75 ? The T&C does not specify either way so I am cautious.

usually not and Buy.com usually jacks all the prices up shortly after announcing one of these promo's. just wait and see.

Got this is an email from Buy. Trying to see if there is anything decent in stock...

I got myself a WD6401AALS (black, 5 years, 32m caceh). I am in the market for a HD for my HTPC.

Got a WD10EACS 1TB SATA HD for my Popcorn. 100.99 - 15 and free shipping is a good deal.

World of Warcraft 60 Day Pre-Paid Card for $24 each (need to buy three to get the $15). FTW!

I needed a $63 item, so I used one of those 8GB USB drives as a filler (the Sandisk one). Drive is $20 normally, but $15 when paid with Paypal, because it applies item-specific $5 off when paid with Paypal. So, a free USB drive effectively - if the $15 off $75 is not going to conflict with that $5 discount. Anyone sees any language in this offer that clarifies this?

When you pay through PayPal on the confirmation page just before you submit your order and return to Buy.com it will state if the order qualifies for the $15/$75 promotion at the top of the page:

Promotions: This order qualifies fo the $15 of your purchase of $75 or more at Buy.com see details

Email them and tell them you've since received the coupon... they'll credit you.

This is a PayPal funded promotion. Based on my experience with Buy.com it is not likely they will credit you anything.

err. double post

Would like to see if there are any products dealing with Multimedia or HTPC that I could obtain FAR using this offer?

Got WD3200BEVT for my PS3. 77 - 15 - 1% < 62 with free shipping.

A 320GB 2.5 SATA HDD for less than $62 shipped. Nice Deal.

The 1% cachback from FW. Not much, but still money, don't forget it. Thank you, OP.

Just grabbed the Zyxel x550n for $52.99 AR & PPCB shipped free. See this post:

Zyxel x550n

Took away free ship on item I liked. I guess trying to balance things out?

handyguy said: Took away free ship on item I liked. I guess trying to balance things out?Same thing here on a hard drive I was looking at. Was FS now they was $22 for it. Yet their eBay store still has it for FS at the same price (but no PP discount).

Suspect this means Buy.com is funding it.

Logitech QuickCam 9000 + 2 gig SD card (or a filler of your choice) for about $41.50 + tax shipped after multiple discounts.

I posted this separately, but might be worth cross posting here. Thoughts as to whether Buy.com instant coupon will invalidate the paypal CashBack somehow?

I like this deal...

It can't be stacked with the 5% off coupon. I had to remove the coupon just to be able to checkout with PayPal.
The $15 off doesn't appear as a discount, rather you get the $15 returned to your PayPal account by Jan 31st.

Not necessarily. The same thing happened when Google Checkout was handing out $10 to $50, buy .com was increasing their prices by exactly what Google was rebating.

Makes you wonder if buy .com doesn't like these promotions and is trying to counter it. What else could it be? Can't be the $$$, because there would be no net savings to the customer, who will then just skip the entire deal.

I got free budget shipping for the 6 items I bought.

Needed a new power supply so I picked up this Antec Earthwatts 650 for $78.10 - $15:

Antec EA650

Seemed like an ok deal to me.

Skipping 24 Messages...

received my 15 dollar as well. I would have purchased twice but with tax it was not much cheaper.
