always loved big lots, I furnished my apartment condo with big lots furniture and it looks great for a great price...
They have good t.v stands if someone is interested, this is the first time I am seeing a T.V of this size with them...good to know they are entering this market.
Hope they give BB and Sears and run for their money soon... Green for you!!!
That's a great price....chances are, people are gonna line up outside at 6am like they did for the HP laptop deal.
My time is worth more than that hassle these days. Give me free shipping and I'm in. Otherwise, I'll wait until the 50" models drop down to this price, which they will.

Although, the ad only says ATSC tuner.. (no QAM?)
ATSC tuner = QAM/HD tuner
Edit: n/m... I'm wrong.

Thanks for the correction beatnik28!

I just bought this TV through costco.com $799 + tax & shipping came out to about $900, but the reason why I bought it at costco was because they are offering $250 costco cash card back when you order direct TV from them, so if you don't have direct TV and want to order them, this is another option for you out there.

Reviews for this particular tv are not good. For this size, your money is best spent on a 720p. Believe me, you wont be able to tell the differnce. I was convinced that I needed a 1080, but I am SO glad that i decided to go for a 720p samsung plasma. I guarantee you will not be able to tell the difference on a tv this size and neither will anyone else! You will get a much better buy for you $ and be able to afford a blu-ray with the bargains that are going on currently. If buying a tv 50" or less, trust me, the 1080 is NOT worth the extra $. You should be able to get a 42" for between 650-700 including tax and shipping currently, and possibly even less come jan.

Agreed. The Sharp I bought had the dreaded "banding" issues.Exchanged for a Panny which had a fantastic picture but after two power supply failures I got the 42" Samsung for $749 @ BB. Best tv by far IMO........
What I love with these TVs are how people mark them down on ratings for the SOUND. Seriously?? You spend $1000 or more on a television, and you don't hook it up to a decent sound system? That just baffles me.
Conversely, the reviews talk about poor black levels and contrast, and this isn't the Aquos line. Good price for what it is, but I'll pass.
Was at the Hawks Prarie, WA Big Lots today and they still have these in stock at the $699 price. They also had a couple of smaller HDTVs for around $400.

That's where I live. Now I know my competition. Never met any other FW'ers from around here in Puget Sound area.

Actually I didn't buy the TV (grabbed a 40" Sony S4100 at the outlet store in Marysville for about $20 more) but the guy ahead of me did buy one. So there's one left for you.
Hawks Prarie is a pretty good store - they usually stock all the furniture and tech deals.
