I only checked for my printer, the Canon Pixma IP8500, but the savings were amazing and I thought I should share.
Here are the deets:
Individual cartridges on the Private site were $1.55-1.95 each vs. $4.99 each on the 24-7 site and $11.95 each on the Canon site.
I chose the 3 set pack with a total of 24 cartridges for $37.95 (41.04 shipped less the 5% discount)...which is an incredible deal.
Three complete sets of cartridges on the 24-7 site would be $111.85 (2 set package +1 set package)
The Canon site offers no packages, however, 24 cartridges at $11.95 each would total $286.80 before taxes and shipping.
This is my first post, I did a search and nothing else came up.
Hope there are great deals for other brands! Edit by Moderator: Thank you for participating in the forums. However, the link you provided benefited a site other than, or in addition to, the one making the offer. Please in the future provide the most direct link possible.
Prices look good for what they say are genuine Epson (e.g. T054120). Genuine Epson inks are the longest lasting (no fading) for photos on an Epson printer and paper. Anyone used these guys before? Why "Private"? How long is the coupon code good for? Does this qualify for 12% Cash Back too? All totalled the price on T054120 is 15-20% less than the best price on pgrabber. Does anyone have a site that has the ink I need for less?
I don't understand the moderators comments. Who is the other party benefiting? Why are people giving OP red?
Abacus also has an eBay store, which is sometimes even cheaper.

I clearly stated that this was my first post...btw the moderator must have changed the link to default to the 24-7 site, because I didn't try to create a link on my update.
I bought from Abacus about four years ago. They gave me a great price on some replacement Canon cartridges for my cheapo hot deal printer and they worked fine.
I usually print stuff from work, so I didn't use my printer for a while. I tried to print something and found out that there was ink leaking from one of the cartridges. I was all pissed at myself for buying crappy cartridges from some random website until I realized it was the original Canon cartridge that had leaked not the Abacus one! I'd definitely give them a try again.

I have used these refilled cartridges before in both epson and HP without any problems.Sometimes it is still cheaper to get them from this seller on the bay. Thanks for the post OP and don't let the negs get you down. I don't completely understand how all this linking works out but sometimes when you are logged into an account on a site and you link to it, it looks like it is a referral that you would also get points or credit for each person that bought something. Not to say that is what happened but that is the way the link string looks.
george2001 said: Abacus also has an eBay store, which is sometimes even cheaper. Are they cheaper than their private store, which is linked in the first post (private.Abacus24-7.com)? Don't use the FatCash link to their normal store, it's definitely more expensive than eBay. The private store is the link they send to people who have purchased from them on eBay. FW gets messed up when you post a link for the private store because they see Abacus24-7 and turn that into a referral link.
Also I just got an offer from them -- 10% off your entire order, through 4/4. Use code: CODE10.
I have placed 2 orders with them, no problems. I may place another one with this code since I am running low on cartridges.
Thanks OP and George (for the eBay link), I ordered off the eBay store w/ free shipping "Abacusfree"... Definitely the best deal of the three, plus I used MSN live for 13% instant CashBack.
for my canon, it seems that their private store cost less for the ink I'm looking for... they just sent me free shipping coupon with orders of $35 or more and the code is "MAY19" valid until 5/24. Anyone have any opinions as to whether or not cleaning cartridges are worth it? Haven't used one before. thanks

Haven't used one before. thanksI used them when I first purchased from them and it solved a problem I had with a printed that I'd had some problems with (due to bad cartridges from Megatoners, I believe). They solved my problem. I haven't used them since, but I haven't had problems since I started using Abacus ink.
Did anyone try the Abacusfree code for free shipping on eBay mentioned above? I'd like to try it, but it's one thing to have a code not work when you're buying from a normal website, another if you do the "buy it now" on eBay and THEN find out that the code does not work.

thanks for your input. i don't think abacusfree is a code... if you notice the page for the two eBay store links, you will notice the free shipping site says abacusfree
xmasangel said: i don't think abacusfree is a code... if you notice the page for the two eBay store links, you will notice the free shipping site says abacusfree Oops, you are correct. It does not appear that they are cheaper than the private Abacus24-7 site for the Canon cartridges I just checked, but I guess for a small order they might be and possibly for some other items.
The nice thing is that now that Staples is giving $3 credit for non-OEM cartridges again, these are pretty much better than free!

If you go through the any search engine for better price of ink,you can easily find it.
mathewdavid said: If you go through the any search engine for better price of ink,you can easily find it.Examples? Find me cheaper ink for my Canon ip4000 from a reputable seller. I used megatoners for a couple of orders. The first batch was great, the second was awful (leaks), and because I found the problem after 90 days, they told me the would not do anything. Abacus ink has been very reliable and at $1.50/cartridge I am very happy with the pricing. And I believe they stand behind their ink for a full year.
Honestly, you come in here as a new user and claim that you can get better prices and then don't say where. Why even bother wasting our time with your post?

coupon code no longer valid, but good prices on their own. After Staples trade in, paying net @ a buck a cartridge for my Canon.

Found new coupon code of FRD5 that worked for 5% off, also saw code ABBTEN for 10% but did not see until after completed order, so I am not sure if works, both codes listed as good until 8/31/09.

I placed a $50 order last week without any coupon because I needed ink for a printer I am sending my son to school with. Customer service was not helpful when I called asking for a coupon code. None of the ones I had gotten via email were working anymore.
Update: I also did not try these but I just searched that code (ABBTEN) and I think it is valid at the regular Abacus24-7 site, not the private one. Private.Abacus24 dash 7.dot com is much cheaper than the regular site. (Sorry for the odd spelling, FW auto-linking messes things up if I type that URL normally. FRD5 does seem to work. Oh well, $2.50 lost.
I'm not impressed with this ink. I'm on my 3rd canon printer, and I think I finally have learned my lesson about cheap ink. It may be fine for documents, but pictures look horrible.
The quality of this ink was the worst I have every bought though... random lines along with a red tint in pictures. I even had a chip fall off of one of the cartridges.

Is it me? I don't seem to find their cheap ink anymore. Do they only sell genuine ink nowadays at Abacus? I need ink for my Epson R220.
