Sure, their insurance company would probably not have a problem with that at all.

You can buy a Supertech at wallyworld for 2.87 all day along with 1.18 per qt. for oil. Supertech is a qualify brand. I use it in all my cars including my STI. The $10 off $30 is pretty good.
what is the best way to get the darn oil filter off a 2001 Lexus IS300? That darn thing is in such an odd angle and there isn't much space to work with in the engine bay!
Is it a better deal if you use the $13.00 oil change rebate instead? Would be nice if coupon + rebate could be combined.

It's called a slim jim and it's illegal to own one in some parts of the country unless you are a licensed locksmith. For example if you get pulled over for a traffic ticket and a cop sees it in your car you could be charged with possession of burglary tools. Check your local area for the laws on this where you live.
thanks! just in time for my oil change...green for you OP!

My WMT charges something like $1.59 qt for SuperTech conventional... oil hasn't come down yet to match the drop in crude/gasoline pricing... Most of WalMarts oil is produced by Warren Performance Products (at least for the southeast US) .. it's good ... check the bottom of the oil bottles ,, should have WPP or another manufacturers mark.. I believe their filters are made by Purolator which is also good quality although I always bought Delco filters back when they carried them.

As Namlook said you can get in trouble for owning one in some states ,, also you will find that the slim-jims sold for the most part are very low quality and that most modern cars (built in the last 20 years) have guards inside the door protecting against the use of a slim jim ,, it's not 1969 anymore... best course of action is to get a spare key and silicone glue it somewhere you can reach,, maybe inside a bumper cover ,, a few minutes peeling away silicone debris and you're driving again..
god point in your review about the fram filters, they always have sharp edges or metal shavings waiting to come off. i buy OEM for my mitsubishi at a discount so i'm good there, but always looking for cheap oil.

Just came back after changing my oil... Total after tax: $25.16
Anybody know why a quart of motor oil now cost $3 when it use to be half that, and barrel of oil dropped from $140 to $40. There haven't been any oil sales with rebate for months and months, use to be able to get a case @ 59 cents a qt or less after rebate.

LMAO
Not a bad deal if you don't have to buy the filter
