Just curious, but how many guys on fatwallet really would date or marry a woman who would expect 100 roses on valentines day?
I say if you date (or god forbid marry) someone like that then the hottest deal on the planet for you would be to kick her to the curb. I know my gf would be more annoyed than pleased by this.

This is good as I order that many to give one to each female customer on Valentines Day for dinner in our restaurant....thanks!

Not a bad idea to actually order this, and then break it down for personal deliveries to wife, mom, grandmas, etc either
any girl would be happy with this, if you think otherwise then you will learn during your first "illogical argument" with what is probably your first real girlfriend. that being said, 100 roses for this price is amazing and gets you massive brownie points. Remember a little extravagance now and again is never a bad thing (especially when the cost is not prohibitive)

Got to be creative and look at all the possibilities....If your significant other won't appreciate 100 roses, then just give her 2 dozen roses and tear off the petals of the rest and 1)lay some down in your apt starting from the front door up to your candlelite dinner table (home cook meal on V-day saves a bundle anyways) 2)draw a bath and put some in there as well 3)spread some around in your bedroom etc.
Anyway u use it, the smell of fresh rose/rose petals will enhance the evening!

Rose petals on the bed, waste of money. You can use the couch outside my mobile home on the porch. You can hose off after
Can these be scheduled to arrive on or near Valentine's Day, or do you just have to wait until Feb 4th to order them? The site says: Although your order will be shipped Express, please allow 10 days for the handling and shipping process.
Also, beware that you may not want to ship them directly to your SO since there are specific directions for reviving them from their wilted state: Please Note: Flowers are shipped dry and must be properly cut and put in water immediately; therefore, please have someone available to receive and process.
Finally, what's this all about? Special Notice: Summer is here! Extensive exposure to heat can be stressful on fresh flowers. is it summer in Ecuador where they're shipped from?

There you go. America, land of opportunities.
Except that Wal-Mart is private property, and they'd probably call the cops.

Psh, speak for yourself. I am a girl and would be INCREDIBLY angry to get 100 roses for something as silly as the Hallmark holiday. No girlfriend wants roses on V-day...they want a ring!

And women wonder why men seem nervous, edgy, irritable during the first half of February...

I think it's pretty clear you'll be getting roses this year.

Why do women call themselves girls? When will you ever get any respect calling yourself, and letting people call you a girl? Think about it!!

BTW, in true FWF style, wife and I are celebrating Valentine's on the 17th. Still doesn't take away my anxiety about what to get, and where to take her...

Boos, roses, staff, valentine's day?
Who expects something from their boss on valentines day?

but what if you did! Suprize her. I am single, and I'm most likely the cheapest cheapo on FW, but there are times when the smile of a lady trumps the pains of the pocket. GO FOR IT!

Anyone in midtown want to go in on a roses share? I don't have a SamsClub membership, but would go halfsies on an order.

I'd be more than a little creeped out if my male boss handed roses to us women in the office on Valentine's. Not to mention what the guys in the office might think. Eww.

HUH?
Yeah, I saw that too. Silly me, I would just order 2 of the 100 packs! This would be great for a fund raiser, have the group sell a dozen roses for $25 on Valentines day, Good profit margin and save a few marriages, all at the same time.
Hmmm, is this price list current? did you see the special notice? I guess you can order from Australia where it is summer?
Special Notice: Summer is here! Extensive exposure to heat can be stressful on fresh flowers. Please be sure to have someone present at the delivery location to receive your flowers. All boxes are shipped FedEx Priority Overnight. For information regarding delivery times to your area please contact Member Services at 1-888-746-7726.
This is good if you want to split up flowers among several people. You can't have this delivered to someone in an office since it has no vase and the boss would probably frown on someone unpacking and arranging 100 roses on work time.
The 35 long stem red roses from costco with greens and vase for $65 are probably the way to go if you want a delivery at a worksite.

60 for my girlfriend, 40 for my wife
60 for your wife and 40 for my wife. Wait a minute...uh...i mean 100 for my wife.
I think Valentine's Day is a silly made up holiday and refuse to celebrate it. Lucky for me my wife feels the same way.
I also think flowers that die within a couple of days or a week are a horrible way to throw money away.
But, every now and then, i order flowers from Sam's Club for my wife. Flowers are always fresh and bright. Random times and different flowers. Obviously I can get a dozen at a b&m for 20-40 dollars. But I rather spend 70-85 and get 6-8 dozen and make it an extravagent event. Go big or go home man.

WTF? Price up to $156?
Did anyone find out if you can schedule delivery on these? Or do they just ship them at their leisure?
