Refurbed by Nikon USA with 90 day Nikon warranty. Does need AFS lenses with motor in the lense to autofocus. This camera is basically the same as the D60 with only minor differences.
Adorama also shows the D60 refurb for $299 but it won't show the item page.
It was showing when I searched but it wouldn't show the item page. Now it won't show in the search at all.

The D60 for $300 is a better deal. It may be sold out now, but I've seen it on Adorama at that price before. Makes we wish I hadn't sold my 18-1005mm VR lens when I bought my D90 kit. I'd already have bought the D60 body for it.

Yeah that 1005mm get all the chicks. It's the size that counts.
