If you mean Jasper you cannot tell from Conn's description. The newer Jasper chipset 360's don't come with the 256mb card anymore it is now built in. Also the best way to tell is by looking at the back of the package, Jasper 360's show 12.1 amps and the older Falcon chipsets show 14.2.

Been playing too much UT3.
I was confused if memory meant it was card or built-in.
This is a good deal. I wish I found this when my 1 year old Xbox 360 played a joke on me and did the ring of lights thing. I thought it was toast and bought the Holiday bundle to replace it. I would have saved $150. Ohhh well, the 60 Gigbyte hard drive is cool and the new Xbox 360's are built better than even 1 year old models. They run much cooler and quieter. Great find OP! Green.
and of course my 360 died today. First stop, craigslist. Second stop, conns!

I think this one is the 256MB, and no HDD. Have to buy one, if you want one.
I think it's a Jasper by "256MB Memory Unit" Good deal. Man if these were this price when the 360 came out I'd so have one, but I think it's too late in the game to get one.

Wait, unplug all connections to your Xbox 360. It might just be a loose wire. I got red rings and thought my Xbox 360 was toast, too. Just plug everything back in FIRMLY and see if that helps before ordering a 2nd Xbox 360. Loose wires is why I got red rings and it works fine now that I plugged everything back in.
I'd also call Conn's and see if it's the new 360 with HDMI and hopefully the newly improved models that run much cooler. I'd play Call of Duty 4 & other games for hours and my Xbox 360 was like a George Forman grill. The newly designed and improved models can play for hours and are hardly warm at all. They're great.

Snagged the last one in stock at the South Austin B&M location. This unit does show 12.1Amps on the sticker indicated above, so it would seem to be one of the new Jaspers. Good find, OP! Green!
How to tell whether the unit is a Jasper or Falcon: Locate power plug at the back of the Console. Above the six pinhole, if you find two small bars side by side, then it's a Jasper ; if a single bar, then it's a Falcon.
