I do enjoy this site and learn alot about deals. However, the downside is many members are just downright rude and mean if they don't like a deal. That is probably why you got red.
They are ugly as hell. They are not a name brand salt and pepper shaker. You can get shakers at Target/WalMart for next to nothing. Or you can steal them from McDonalds is you are really hard up.

Percent off is not a reason to call something a good deal. Look at the "deals" at Circuit City. You call inflating the MSRP and then taking 25% off a good deal?

It's a grammar tip genius. Not that hard to think 'you are' in your head and contract it as you type and get it right as well.
It also isn't rocket science to see why it has so much red either. If you'd put something like:
Pug (dog) salt and pepper shakers $9.95 (half off)
You'd probably only have the few greens, and the other 3/4+ of people wouldn't have even bothered looking. Instead you put some ridiculous, ambiguous title and made out like it's some super special deal. 3/4+ of those who might be interested in salt and pepper shakers for sure aren't going to be interested in this crap.
IOW it's a marginal deal and a poor posting of it, so will get plenty of well deserved red.

If those were $1.99 with free super saver shipping then maybe, but at that price + shipping it is NOT a deal. we don't buy cuteness=value here, we buy based on true cost/savings/shipping ratio.
I'd almost be compelled to buy this if the salt / pepper came out of the dogs' butts as I've got a friend who's obsessed with pugs, but otherwise, not so much
I thought that social awkwardness of this level was reserved for "in real life". The whole point of online forums is that you can think out your ideas before you type them out. OP expects us to prostrate ourselves and thank her/him for an incredible deal, for the sake of a piranha.

You can get these for 4.95 at The Lakeside Collection online. There are also different types of dogs if you dont prefer this breed.
