the MIR does state that it is not applicable with other ASUS promos. I noticed the IR says ASUS IR....not sure if it will fly but I am def gonna try.

Is there a better version that is pushing the price down? These things are amazing, I'm just wondering what else I can get if I pay more. I know bluetooth is an option I've heard is extra. Thanks!

In February 2009, Asus unveiled the 1000HE, using the new Intel Atom 280 processor with a 10" LED-lit screen, 6-cell battery, 160GB HDD, bluetooth, and 802.11n.

At CES 2009 Asus presented the T91 and the T101H models which will feature a multitouch trackpad and a convertible touchscreen. The models are said to be available within the first quarter of 2009.

Yeah, I'm waiting for the 1000HE that will sport a battery life of up to 9.5 hours and won't stick out underneath the netbook like most other 6-cell batteries. Good find though!
