The D-Link 5-port 10/100/1000 Desktop Switch (DGS-2205) provides an excellent solution for expanding your Gigabit network. Gigabit speed is 10 times faster than 100Mbps Fast Ethernet connection, enabling you to save time transferring bandwidth-intensive music, video, photos, graphic, and data files. By sharing the Internet, users can check e-mail, browse the web, chat with friends and family, and play online games using their own computer. To increase the functionality of your network, you can also add other Ethernet-enabled devices such as a print server, Network-Attached Storage (NAS), and Internet camera.
My thoughts : Prices elsewhere are around $40 for this switch, I figured it was a pretty nice deal... found it when looking for a Gigabit Switch for my home network. This item is $35 on Amazon.

Wow, that's an awful price. I've gotten a few brand new rather than refurbished at about $5 AR.

Oh... okay, sorry
I thought it was a good deal after some research. Care to share how you scored such a good deal on one of these? I will cancel my order and look into that method!!

I got the 8 port for $20 after 30% eBayCashBack last year from the Buy.comeBay store. I also got the 5 port for $10 AR from the Egg also last year. These are great little switches. They two save you about 4-7 watts a year over a conventional switch as measured by me on my kill-a-watt. That isn't a huge saving but at my 10-11 cents per kwh that is a savings for $4-7 a year (for 24x7 operation). The switches will probably pay for themselves over the 4-8 years I will probably use them. The performance was also a bit better in comparison with my SMC gigabit switch. That said this price is not hot by historical standards but they seem to be a lot more expensive now than two months ago.

Well you have to add ~$8 for shipping on top of that price..
Newegg has a brand new one for $38 w/ free shipping - $10 rebate = $28. So that would wind up being about $5 cheaper for a new one vs this refurbished one.
