These retail on their website for $149, Amazon has them for $38 + $4.87 shipping.

Electronic Smokeless Cigarette

Looks like a cigarette, tastes like a cigarette, feels like a cigarette, but it's not a cigarette, it's much better, contains nicotine but no tobacco.

I bought one for $139 about 6 months ago to help me quit smoking, and was now looking for a kit for my sister. I love this little cigarette! Just like smoking without all the carcinogens and other stuff that's bad for your body.

For comparison pricing, here's a link to the retailers website:

I would stay away from this for a couple of reasons:

Smoking Everywhere does not have very good reviews. The product is not as good as many other e-cigs, and there do not appear to be very many satisfied customers.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/3514-sm...

Additionally, I am 99% sure that all of the reviews on this product are from people affiliated with the company. All 3 of the reviews came today, which conveniently is the FIRST day that it is available for sale on Amazon. Additionally, the 2 existing user IDs that reviewed it are both from Florida, which is the state that the seller is located in. The 3rd review is from an account which registered simply to post a review of the cigarette. And of course, a new member happened to post this here as well, also just registering to post this.

e-cigs are a great invention, and I highly recommend them to anyone who cannot quit smoking. They are an excellent alternative, and my parents who smoked their entire lives have switched to e-cigs and they love them. (Not this brand, but a similar model)

If you want simple and easy, the 2 piece models like this are much easier to use, but the consumables are much more expensive than the superior 3 piece models. They require a bit more maintenance and work, but they usually work better, are more satisfying to the smoker and because the 'atomizer' is not disposable like this model, consumables are much lower than the cost of smoking this model.

A good resource about e-cigs is the e-cig forum.

While I personally don't smoke, I have found that the DSE901 is overall the most highly reviewed, and the personal choice of a few of my friends and family who use these. It's available for around $40 - $50 from several retailers, and it can be refilled very inexpensively. For the 2 piece models, the ones sold in Mall kiosks are very overpriced. You can get comparable models that are much more reliable online for much less money.

The 2 piece versions are preferred by my parents and may be easier to get an older smoker to convert, as they are much easier to use and maintain.

e-cigs contain no tobacco at all. They are infinitely safer than smoking cigarettes, and because the smoker get's much of the same pleasure from smoking them, they help people quit who never could before.

I personally try to convert everyone I know from smoking real cigarettes to smoking e-cigs. They could save a lot of peoples lives.

contains nicotine but no tobacco

Exhale vapor, not smoke, so it is legal to smoke in restaurants, malls, airplanes, etc.

you'll get kicked out anyway (lets hope not from airplane ) !

Does anyone here have any experience with TARBLOCK? It's a plastic filter to place on the tip of a real cigarette. Box claims it romoves tar and nicotine without changing the cigarette taste.

I don't have a problem about not smoking in public places. My problem is at home and in the car. I bought this quite a while back on the internet. Used it for a couple of weeks but didn't find any reduction in morning cough, better breathing and more energy as the box claims. One filter is used per 4-5 cigs...so cost is cheap. I wonder what stuff is still left when you inhale with this.

Thanks, Flagg... I really appreciate your taking the time to post your detailed and very informative reply.

I came across the same post at SD, an thought that these and others like it seem incredibly overpriced - most likely because the retailers can do the math on the cost of a smoking habit too - and have been trying to find some reliable resources for information about electronic cigarettes on and off for some time.

I'll dig around the forum you linked to and plan to look into the DSE901...

your so called morning cough is a result of the Cilia (think of a eyelash) being impaired as a result of the chemicals found in tobacco products. The Cilia that line bronchial tubes are useless for a minimum of 20 mins. after smoking; until they very slowly start to work again.

in simple terms think of an eyelash lining the length of a straw lengthwise. the eyelash is responsible for transporting dirt and other irritants from the bottom of the straw (your lungs) to the top (your throat) thus what you call morning cough is a result of the Cilia properly functioning again and moving all the garbage out.

hope this simple little primer helped.

Smoke Anywhere resells njoy e-cigs. These are 3 piece units. My fiance tried this one, and doesn't really like it very much. The filters attach in an odd way that makes removing them very difficult sometimes.

If you want to try an njoy e-cig, you can get actually get them from Costco. Price is $89.99 shipped, and the kit comes with 10 additional cartridges ($20 value) so it works out to be cheaper than buying directly from njoy or other resellers.

But most importantly, if you try it and you don't like it, you can always return it to any Costco for a full refund, which is something you can't do if you buy it elsewhere.

I don't even smoke and I'm thinking of buying some to look hip from costco ofcourse

so how do you pack the bowl?

This look interesting, I switched to Eclipse several years ago after reading about it here too (its good for my wife who has asthma and there is almost no second hand smoke).

Has anyone here tried this, do your lungs feel better? Can you breathe better? What else can you tell us???

aaschere said: Flagg, you're right - the three piece setup was a bit tricky to figure out, but i got used to it after a week or so. when i was doing my initial research i compared the 2 and 3-piece units and i thought the atomizer on the 2 piece was crappier (technically speaking of course, ha ha). seriously though, the metal used in the 2-piece atomizer was lighter and thinner and i didnt feel like the pull was smooth enough. i guess because you toss that whole piece with every cartridge change on the 2-piece models, it naturally has to be cheaper (price and quality).

but i dont know - i have only consistently used the three piece. any other POVs?

As for the Costco price? damn! i'll have to email the guys at smokeanywhere.comto get a retro price match. they don't need to know i'm not a costco member, he he.

Anyone can buy from Costco.com, member or not. (Non members pay a 5% surcharge.)

And the 3 piece njoy e-cig is not very good when compared to the DSE901, which is much sturdier, less expensive to buy and to refill and is overall much higher quality.

Depending if you're a hot blonde or not. You've got to hump my leg.

I smoked Eclipse, RJR Tabaccos smokeless cig for years, I don't see how this is very cost effective, Eclipse cost the same as reg cigs per pack and this thing like way more money.

Green to the op, because I never knew such a thing existed. He may have saved my lungs.

Thanks for that.

I disagree, in Michigan Eclipse are close to $6.50 a pack, I'm spending $300 a month!

I think this looks a lot cheaper, decided to try the one from Costco. Another big problem with Eclipse is once you light it, you smoke it or toss it. You cannot put it out and finish it later.
Looks like you can take a drag or two off of this and wait until later, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.....

Thanks OP, saw these in a mall kiosk while on vacation and wondered what it was!!

One (new & USED) for only 79.99!

Delicious!

So you're saying as long as someone smokes every 20 minutes, they won't get that annoying smokers cough?

Thanks for the tip!

See now, I've never had any interest in smoking in my 30 years - both parents smoked and i hated it. With this, i'm kinda tempted to try some flavored no-nicotine ... things.

I quit smoking 3.5 months ago (cold turkey). To those looking to quit, good for ya, to those not, well good for ya as well. To each their own I say. However, I will say I feel so much better now that its all said and done. The extra $30 a week in my wallet is also a truly hot deal
