Mnsweeps, you can go to LACMA in Los Angeles, if that's your sort of thing. (I wasn't all that crazy about it, myself.) And there's the Discovery Science Center in Orange County, which should be fun for kids. www.discoverycube.org

Has anyone ever been to the Discovery Science Center? The California Science Center near USC is excellent and always free (donation recommended) but we've been so often that taking a trip to OC might be a nice break. The Discovery Science Center only being open on Saturday sounds pretty sketchy though.

I've went to 3 places in Chicago with this over the last year and never had a problem. The program has actually been around for a few years, so unless the museums listed are new, the staff is pretty used to it.
Kirbydog, I'm confused. Does it START this April, or does it END in April? Your link goes to Museums on Us 2008. And that shows it ends this April. But either way, thanks!
