They will even store the license keys for you on their website! NOTE: Clicking the American flag at the top of the Ashampoo webpage will set a cookie that switches to pages in English.
In addition to receiving full version software that would have cost $10-50/product in 2008, Ashampoo offers a substantial discount (50-80% off list) if you decide to upgrade to their new, full 2009 versions.
If you agree to receive their newsletters, they offer great discounts on their other software products as well.

(Personally, I prefer Iobit Advanced SystemCare 3.1.2 -- not perfect, but close and also FREE FOREVER at any download site!) Link - free WinOptimizer
2) Ashampoo Powerup 2 or Ashampoo Powerup 2009 Lite (list $29.99, you pay 0) - Tweaking tool, file wipe, startup/process manager, registry backup (slimmed down version of WinOptimizer if you don't need all the features). Link - free Powerup

5a) Ashampoo Burning Studio 2009 (list $49.99, you pay 0) - CD/DVD, Blu-ray burning suite, rip music, copy data/disks, burn disk images, create label/jewel case cover designer (like roxio or Nero). Note, this deal is through a different promo website than the others, and is INDEED for the 2009 version. Link - free Burning Studio 2009 - Select “Herunterladen” (download). Run the installer (select English). - Select ‘Get Full Version Key’ in the ‘Internet’ menu. You’ll receive an email in german with your free license key. OR 5b) Ashampoo Burning Studio 2008 Link - free Burning Studio 2008 full version from Ashampoo
OP mentions free 2008 versions to promote discounted 2009 version upgrades, but the link for Ashampoo Burning Studio seems to be the 2009 version. Am I missing something? Does the key activate a full 2009 version or downgrade it to 2008? Or is there a different link for the 2008 free version?

Is this the case for Burning Studio or not? I won't bother if it's only a 30 day trial. I think those are always available.

So your saying that their claim for "Request for a FREE full version key without limitations for the program:" is fraudulent?

I downloaded the Burning Studio and chose the free version. You register and it will send you an email and when you click the link you can get the free activation key. I've installed it and am running it now.

has anyone compared winoptimizer with winutilities? i haven't tried yet.
you can download winutilities 6.2 trail from the official website, and then get the reg. name & s/n by search the key word "winutilities" on this fw website. it becomes full version.
please post your comment on comparing these two warez.

OP is correct. After clicking the links to get a registration code for the program(s) you want, do a search for the software title on their website (including version number). The price is only the "suggested retail." After installing the software, enter the registration code you were given and it is an unlocked full-version. Voila!!
Are they giving away 2008 version or 2009 version? Links are to 2009 version but OP mentioned they offer discounts for upgrading to 2009 versions.
Thanks.

Ashampoo creates solid software. I'm not saying their software does all the following, as I've only really tried their WinOptimizer and found it a bit redundant as I've done all the tweaks myself, but I can see it helping someone not so experienced. I just wanted to argue your logic.
Win Optimizers are a collection of Windows Tweaks which included disabling unused services, recovering hard drive space, helping manage defrag of your HD and registry, registry clean-up, performance tuning to make Windows use less system resources, controlling programs at start-up, etc.
Internet Accelerators include TCP optimizers which adjust TTL, MTU size, and possibly even fix things such as disabling AutoTuning in Vista and changing TcpAckFrequency to 1 (default 2) which helps your internet speed tremendously.
Their burning software is a great alternative to Nero. Nero has become extremely bloated with software you don't need. Though, ImgBurn is probably as good of a solution and is freely available.
Using the same logic you have, I can come up with hasty conclusions regarding your method of criticism.

Let me switch it up. So I can't say, McAfee makes solid software since I just registered? I haven't seen any of your prior posts, so your claims are equally worthless using your logic.
Just because I say something that you're skeptical of and would be eager to disagree on, doesn't mean you have some right to flame someone about it.
I'm going to assume something here - FatWallet patrons like cheap stuff (preferably free). Ashampoo makes affordable alternatives to the higher end software. They're professionals at what they do. You can go pick up CCleaner, ImgBurn, google the following: TCPOptimizer, TcpAckFrequency, Vista AutoTuning disable, and Vista tweak guide and spend a few hours doing trial and error possibly not understanding what you're doing to your computer and possibly even making it not function proper. Run services.msc and see if you can figure out how to cut some processes safely. Considering this is free software and they have trial version of their stuff even, I don't see why you need to be so critical of them if you haven't claimed you tried it.
Pretty ignorant if you ask me. There's surprises everywhere. Stereotypes are often untrue in many cases and those willing to explore are bound to find some surprise. For instance, if you never had the Southwestern Salad from McDonalds, try it. You'd begin to doubt McDonalds was a cheap restaurant with a menu full of empty calories and start to discover many other healthy and inexpensive and convenient items to get for lunch from them.

I received an email with the Key. But the email is in German. which link do I click on to get the software? -- I tried all the links. the first link gets me to http://www.software-abo.de/?refid=ash-reg in German and I don't see any WinOptimizer. The second link gets me to the Profile page, with no apparent link to download software. The other links are to the non-free softwares.
I got the burning studio. Kinda fun trying to read German and guess what it means. I used a free online translator just to be sure I understood correctly Thanks OP.

I have been using WinOptimizer for years and it is a great product - I just upgraded to to WinOptimizer 6 from 4.
Getting a full verion of WinOptimizer 5 for free is excellent and I suggust you give it a try. I have WinUtilities also (giveaway of the day) but like WinOp better.
I have also tried Burning Studio and it is a solid product also.
Thanks OP. This has to be better than the "GiveAwayoftheDay" crap

I got the burning studio (2009) a couple of weeks ago, replaced the 2008 I got a few months ago; does the job very well (better than Nero, which I ditched over a year ago; and at least as well as Infrarecorder, which I got when I ditched when I got nero)...I highly recommend it. Burned several things so far, no coasters and good quality. Got the WinOptimizer about 2 weeks ago when it was offered as a freebie, seems to do about the same sort of job that Glary Utilities (freebie) does-which is a good job. Ashampoo, from what I've seen, makes solid software... a little bit of a pain to get the reg code (as I remember it's a 2 email deal), but worth having, especially the burning studio.
zzyzxfc said: Is anyone else having trouble getting aShampoo Shrink and Burn 2's free key to actually work? I entered the key ashampoo GmbH & Co. emailed me and the program accepts the registration code, but when I check the registration status under the buy/register menu option in the program, it states the program is in trial mode.
aShampoo emailed me stating I have 13 days left in the trial??? What gives?
I sent an email to aShampoo from their web site to see if they can please. Fortunately, I'm a registered user of one of their programs: aShampoo Office2008 so I don't feel like a major leech
Shrink & Burn is NOT one of the free programs listed in the original post. On the Ashampoo product page, the key they provide is clearly labeled a "Trial" key. Try the one of the links/products in this post.
