ebates is offering 4% discount at Staples, you'll get more than your coupon amount back.

This goes for $109 every day on Amazon with no tax

So $99 + tax is about the same.

Now the $25 e-junkie coupon makes the price pretty good. What is an e-junkie coupon? Do you have a link?

Nice, any FAR+camera bundle printers to make this hotter? My friend needs a new camera...need a deal on an SD card too.

nice find OP.

I have this camera (from Amazon.com) and I love it. It takes really good pictures and there's not a lot of waiting between when you press the button and the picture snaps (unless you are using the flash).

why do some Staples people get coupons and others get a free garbage bag ?

Google is your friend!

There is a report that Instant Savings disable/invalidate coupons. Anybody successfully used the coupon?

EDIT: There are codes that do not apply with Instant Savings. Read the fine prints.

the coupon is unique code

it works for both

I just got 10 of them with different accounts.

fatwalletsam said: There is a report that Instant Savings disable/invalidate coupons. Anybody successfully used the coupon? The poster might have tried to use a coupon of which the first 5 digits are the same with a recently used coupon.

Edit: Changed 4 digits to 5.

Thanks to those that helped!!

the coupon works, both of them (in combination with a $25 off $75 coupon that I bought off eBay from ejunkie). You don't get to see the discounts until checkout. The tax sucks, but still the best price I've seen on this versatile workhorse camera (planning on using it with CHDK). Thanks OP!

Thanks for the deal...just now made the purchase...went like a breeze.

got one thanks op

.

In for one...thanks!
Coupon worked fine.

well
people keep private messaging me on how to get the coupon

here it is

just a head up to save people money

probably go e-junkie search for Staples coupon
and look for

cpn4u

as the seller
they are quite nice and reply fast when I have issues with my coupons.

Just to elaborate on this for people who are clueless about E-junkie (like myself). Go to the site as described above and look for the $25 off $75 coupon. The coupon will be about $2.95 (you can use Google Checkout or Paypal). I instantly got an email from E-junkie containing a unique coupon code.
On the Staples checkout page is the option to add more coupons. Click this and copy the coupon number in. The discount will show up on your last checkout page. Worked smooth for me!

Sorry if this is super-obvious information, but I thought it might help someone who was not familiar with the E-junkie concept.

thanks for explaining it clear-er than me.
my fault.

Ordered one today @ 74.99 [+tax] after using a $25 off $75 coupon that I received in their email advertisement to me over the weekend. Expected delivery tomorrow.

Your explanation was fine. I just dumbed it down a step for people like me

thanx

got one thanks

Great deal - thanks!
FYI - I also added an SD card to my order, pushing the total above $100. With this I was able to use a $25 of $100 instead of $25 of $75 to save a few bucks on the coupon cost.
I also had no problem using a coupon from E-junkie.

I too added a PNY 2gb SD card to my order to push it over. However, a coupon self applied - code 55146- that took off the price of the card. However, for some reason, I could not use the 25 off in conjunction with the free SD card code. It kept saying that the minimum was not met even though I had more than 100 in the cart.

has to be $100 without the "free" card

The 55146 coupon makes the card free with the purchase of a camera so if you're using that coupon then you need $100 in your cart besides for the camera to use the $25 off, so you're probably better off just not getting the card.

Why would you be better off? If you want to use $25 off $100 coupon just get 2 SD cards or add other small filler item to order.

Nice enough little camera, and I would note that its functionality can be greatly enhanced by use of the Canon Hack Development Kit.

Sweet deal! I got my coupon off eBay, but same principles apply. $81.26 total cost, including coupons and minus CashBack. I've needed a new camera for a while now, and this one should last for quite some time. Thank You!

Can't find that PNY 2G SD card online. Can someone post the Staples SKU for it? Thanks.

Thanks for the find! You just saved me from an evening of camera shopping.

Adding another SD card won't help you because once you're using the camera to get a free SD card you can't count it (the camera) towards your $100 required for the $25 off coupon so you'd need another $100 filler to use both coupons which kind off defeats the purpose.

Great deal. I've been looking at this camera for some time. My old Nikon has a couple of issues. Still works, but is getting creaky. Was unfamiliar with E-junkie, but bumped around a bit on the site and figured out what was going on and how to purchase the on-line coupon. Only $1.95 for that, and a box of paperclips to qualify for $25 off $100.

Too bad I live in California and had to pay the Governator Gratuity of 8.75%, soon to be 9.75%. Anyway $85 bucks out the door for this camera is great.

Thanks OP.

It worked for me when I ordered a few days ago but now does require adding an additional item. However now you can get 2 free 2GB SD cards using the one free with purchase coupon.

grrr....so tempting....must resist....

Let me clarify, I did put two cards in there to put the order total over 100 (because the first card was free). But apparently having the 55146 code negates the 25 off code, or at least for me it did.

Edit: Just got the camera today. I was surprised at the construction. It was all very light weight plastic, and some of plastic seams weren't even tight. For this price no reason to complain, but not quality that I would expect from Canon.

I was having a similar problem, but with a $25 off $75 code. Adding the camera and memory card, then all the codes. With all codes in, it invalidated the $25 code, but applied the 55146 code. Deleting the 55146 code would make the $25 code work, then putting the 55146 code back on, same thing, $25 quit working. Gave up on it and just ordered, since it wasn't a problem with the amount $ wise in the cart. Anyway, hope my cousin likes the camera.
