OK is the 6Ave now..
Never heard of them before...

Good deal if the store is reputable.

6Ave is fine. Ordered from them a couple of times, never had a problem. Got all my rebates too.

still @ $98

In Store only for that price.

Also, no TTS. Pass, unless it's hackable.

Why it isn't available @ 89 ??

Is today not 3/8/2009?

Yes, Mio C320 is born to be hacked.

You can convert it to a versatile PDA as you like. Install Garmin Mobile XT in it, for its Windows CE environment, the only limit is your imagination!

Sciencehack - do you have any links you could share? I'm too lazy/busy to google right now.

I believe this unit is VERY hackable.

Had this unit for awhile. It can do alot of things. You can add Text to Speech no problem. I found though that its more hassle then its worth trying to watch video and such on it. The Battery life is very low. Approx 1Hr so unless your plugged in somewhere you dont get alot of use out of it.

Start here with hacking. Clear easy directions. It's a wonderful device afterward.

Battery less than an hour? No way! I am giving up.

I don't care if the battery time is low - mine is always plugged in the car anyway. This is a great deal on a reputable, larger screen GPS. Two weeks ago I paid double this price for a Garmin with mp3 player and although I'm sure the Garmin has a few more bells and whistles and refinements, it is not worth double for what I want it to do. Things like this always happen to me!

I'm aware of the low battery time issue also and find it on balance, no big deal especially in light of the price of this unit.

The benefits of running multiple navigation software with the ability run and install new maps, plus the ability to use it as a PDA/Media Player far outweigh the downside of the battery. My main use is as a GPS but it's nice to be able to hand it to a kid in the backseat to keep them amused or to watch a video or read a book myself on a long trip. It's plugged in for all these types of activities and if I want to use it indoors I plug it into a portable USB charger.

Besides Miomap, here's a short list of what I'm aware it can run.

Igo 8(My favorite)
Tom Tom
Destinator 8(seems well liked haven't tried it)(Think this is used by Omnitech GPSs)
Polnav

I run Igo8 with the latest Navteq maps most of the time. The interface and routing are wonderful, but I do go back to Miomap(latest 12 million POI TeleAtlas maps)sometimes when searching for a POI. All this run from a simple, easy to install and most importantly wife friendly interface, created by the great Xtyler91 with his Simple Unlock.

. erase, I think I just got it hacked.
