The "DEALNEWS" code is still working as of 8/29/09...

B1G1 Ink Cartridge W/code at SwiftInk.com Brother - Epsen - Canon +$5 shipping
I borrowed this from Dealnews (I hope that is acceptable):

At SwiftInk.com, buy one Canon, Epson, or Brother ink cartridge and get a second cartridge for free via coupon code "DEALNEWS". The unique thing about this coupon is that it adds a free item for every qualifying item you have in your cart. (Ex. Add two items to your cart, get two more free.) Shipping adds $5, but orders of $50 or more ship for free. This coupon excludes Canon PG-40, CL-41, PG-50, CL-51, and toner cartridges.

Of note, free items will not appear in your cart, however, a one-cent discount will show after the code is applied.

Thanks! I have a Brother printer too.

Can you comment on whether the High Capacity cartridges are worth paying more for?

Also, it looks to me as though it is just for one free of each kind. You have ordered two black cartridges, but this line says "4" free, not five:

DSC-19 B 1 G 1 Free -Canon, Epson, Brother [LC-61Bk] [LC-61C] [LC-61M] [LC-61Y] 4 -$0.01 -$0.04

Wouldn't it show -$0.05 if you were to get all five free ones?

These are not authentic branded inks, just for the record. They are OEMs. In other words, you might as well get these at Megatoners (and probably still pay less).

Now, find me a B1G1 deal on authentic Brother Innobella™ cartridges and you'll have my attention.

I have not tried any of these yet. I just ordered the standard ones today.

OK, according to the site, the high capacity ones provide just over twice the pages printed as the regular ones.

I don't think so. I was going by an old thread at SD that said "No Limit. Buy 2 Get 2 Free! Buy 3 get 3 Free! Free cartridge will be same model number and color as purchased cartridge. Free products will not appear anywhere in shopping cart, but you will receive the extra items as long as you enter the coupon code."

Also Dealnews says "The unique thing about this coupon is that it adds a free item for every qualifying item you have in your cart. (Ex. Add two items to your cart, get two more free.)"

My ink came in today. 3 day shipping. And in case you were still in doubt about the B1G1, the order was doubled - ordered 5 got 10.

These are generic replacement carts. OEM's are original mfg's carts made by Epson, HP, etc. I posted this exact deal last October here and a few people did not receive the free carts (without calling). I found their prices pretty competitive with Megatoners.

I got mine today, but won't try them for a week or so. Can you comment on the quality?

I used to buy from megaterrors, but never again. My $ .02 about megaterrors:

A bunch of useless rats. Cartridges that are marked wrong, not like the website represents them, no yellow in several 3-color cartridges (when I clean to try to get some yellow going, that runs out the black cartridge), odd-shaped unusual cartridges, AND reduced from 18ml contents to 12ml of ink content. Their 1-800 phone only has a message telling you to email them. Their "Customer non-Service" is plainly a sarcastic a$$hole who is no help - just lies and insults. And it goes on and on and on. I'm quite surprised they are still in business (if you can call it that?). When you factor in the wasted money for empty/wrong product which you cannot easily take care of, the COST of doing business with Mr. J. Meoff goes up at a rapid rate. A bunch of useless rats.

SwiftInk.com seems to actually have Customer Service, if needed.

just wanted to bring this back to the top! really good deal, ordered some for my new 15$ ip2600 PIXMA printer

I want to buy for brother mfc-7220 and it costs $35.00 so I want to order 2 but, will I get 4? because it's only showing 2 in cart with $70.00!!

If you use the code "freeoffer" it will show on your check-out page as "B1G1.....01". The quantity should be double. If your order is for 2 of the same item, it might just look like yor getting only 1 free, but in actuality its "one" double order. Hard to explain... Use the code and it will be alright. Order 2 and you will get 4. You can call if you feel more secure - 1-866-461-3801

As of April 08, 2009 this special code offer of B1G1 is still good.

On April 08, I used "freeoffer" and my order was doubled free. The total order was under $50 so the cost to ship was $5.00 (they ship USPS priority).

As the previous post said, the statement shows a "1" double order for -$0.01.

I have previously used Swiftink for several years. They have consistently provided good compatible ink and fast service and good competitive prices.

looks like the offer is dead now.

FREEOFFER seems to work still.

Yep. FREEOFFER worked for me as well this morning.

Code "FREEOFFER" expired on 4/30/2009... BUT "DEALNEWS" still works as of about 5 minutes ago.. CHA CHING!

On a slightly different note, which printer brand has the most economical use of ink? I hear that Lexmark is know to be the worst for ink usage.

EDITED: To state that the coupon still works.

Still alive as of 06.25.09 - code "DEALNEWS"

Epson carts had serious issues with my CX8400. Not being recognized and clogging. I think I'll stick to OEM's as it keeps the wife off my arse...

They work fine in my Brother 490, but ya gotta do what ever it takes to keep the little woman happy...

it's not working for me.

Still works for me. I just tried it. What code did you enter? You don't see "B1G1" on the order form when you use code "DEALNEWS"? BTW some Canon carts are excluded...

Update: "DEALNEWS" code still working as of 7/8/09...

Thanks for this post, I just ordered 20.

I have been using generic for years and it seems to be going well. (Epson 5400)

i didn't get "DEALNEWS" to work...

Ok, it doesn't work on the cartridges I need. What a tease. =(

HP 825c - 15 and 17.

I got 2cents off on Epson 825 carts!

That's what it should show. Look to the left of that dicount and it will show "B1G1" on your order.

"Coupon code "DEALNEWS" is not a valid coupon code"

It would help if you would mention the ink your trying to buy...

that's how they make money - - cheap hardware! 'll get you later cheap bastards! signed Lexmark

Not promoting anyone, but I buy mine from here. Usually, no one bids higher. If they do, move on to the next auction. They also have a Buy-it-now for a buck more.
The math for the capacity and the price works out fine for me. 100% Positive Feedback from at least 3400+ customers, speaks for the quality of the ink, and the professionalism of the seller.

Another heads up - "DEALNEWS" is working as of 08/29/09...
