Reminds me of the Simpsons..."Mr. Tire is the name, that name again is Mr. Tire".

If you ever get a flat fixed, be sure to watch the tire as they take it and dunk it to look for holes to make sure it isn't damaged in the process. If even a pinhole is found along the edge of the tire, they will not fix it because the tire is no longer reliable. At that point, your only option is to buy a new tire to replace your old one. If the opposite side tire is worn, you'll be buying two tires because you'll have to replace both.
Why would they need to balance it again after repairing? That minor plug they stick in the tire to stop the leak won't throw it off but a bit, probably not enough to do anything. As far as mounting, you don't need to take the tire off of the rim to patch it.
Regardless, America's Tire Co. does it all for free (removal, patch, and putting it back on). They just want your future business.
Here what happened to me. My tire had a "non-repairable" hole and they didn't mount old tire back on like I though they would they just threw away my tire and put on the spare tire (lucky i had a full size spare). I didn't noticed know it until the time but when I was going to put the old tire into spare tire compartment that when I found out only return the rim. When I return the next day, they claimed that they had disposable of the old tire (I wanted the old tire back since I still had roadside warranty on it, so I can get a partial credit. I manage to talk them into giving me a free tire when I do my replace tires (so Buy 3 get 1 free deal)
PS they even will match Costco price as well as "roadside warranty"

Does Mr.Tire fix flat tires free if you bought the tires there?
