It's a trail membership for new members... don't they give 90 days to cancel your new membership free anyway? I did it last year, got new membership used it for like 75 days, but didn't like it better the Costco so cancel it with all my money refunded.

I agree, Costco is the winner in the wholesale clubs, hands down. I've tried them all, and Costco store brand is phenomenal, great pet food, etc.. sealed the deal for me. Consumer reports seems to agree. Between Trader Joe for wine, sushi, organic goodies, and Costco for the rest -- I haven't been to a normal grocery store in months.

never been to a bj, no locations in california. as for costco i have to say, their pizza is great. large pizza with 3 toppings for only 9.99 everyday. not to mention the 1.50 real sausage hot dog.
