It's a trail membership for new members... don't they give 90 days to cancel your new membership free anyway? I did it last year, got new membership used it for like 75 days, but didn't like it better the Costco so cancel it with all my money refunded.

I agree, Costco is the winner in the wholesale clubs, hands down. I've tried them all, and Costco store brand is phenomenal, great pet food, etc.. sealed the deal for me. Consumer reports seems to agree. Between Trader Joe for wine, sushi, organic goodies, and Costco for the rest -- I haven't been to a normal grocery store in months.
never been to a bj, no locations in california. as for costco i have to say, their pizza is great. large pizza with 3 toppings for only 9.99 everyday. not to mention the 1.50 real sausage hot dog.

I've used this offer in December/January. That temporary membership expired on 1/31/09. Can I use this again? How long do they keep your name/address in their database?

Normal membership fee is $45 per year. There is a new store opening in a nearby town, and I received a flyer in the mail offering $10 off the normal price plus three extra months (15 total) if I join before the store opens. Sounds like a good deal, but if the store suxx then it's not worth it no matter how cheap it is. But like crtt said, BJ's is the only club of the three that accepts all manufacturers' coupons--even the ones from Sunday newspaper. Meh, decisions, decisions.
I went to BJs for the first time on Sunday, used the coupon and got 3 months trail for free, with no upcharge. Was also offered $30 for 14 more months membership and a bunch of coupons for free stuff.... Powder Springs Ga.
I scouted the store very well, and sams is a much better store/prices.
