Or: videocardbenchmark.netGPUreview doesn't show a functioning comparison, only allows me to compare the base specs for each card. Videocardbenchmark ONLY uses the one G3D test for comparison, not all that accurate for real world performances.
So for CheapAzn's cards, videocardbenchmark puts the 4850 a good 20% over the GTS250. In real world testing, it's anywhere from the 4850 being 20% faster than the GTS250, to the GTS250 being 2x as fast* as the 4850! (*Only a few tests put the 250 twice as fast FPS (or more), most tests put GTS250 around 10-25% faster). Overall I'd put them about the same, with the GTS250 having a slight lead on average.
Have to wonder though... they pulled the rebate for a reason.
Also, thought I'd mention the 250 is the same G92 core as the 9800s, so it's really a high-end OC 9800 GTX instead of the low-end GTS 200 series it's marketed as.

stridhiryu030363 said: back in stock guys. going to give this a shot. great price if the rebate goes through.
There was deal like this in the past from the Egg but different v/card and the same thing happened with the rebate being pulled from Newegg's site . Many people had problems with the rebate where Newegg offered to reimberse "some" customers , but not all of them . The rebate is an added plus if you get it but still YMMV in my eyes .
Still a good deal for this card @ $105/free ship .

Received my 2 cards yesterday. The rebate is now correct with model 25SFF6HMUEXI which is what I got. The UPC also matches the rebate form, 845735000150.
Thanks op, great deal!

great. my rebate finally went through. too bad my card just died two weeks after i got it. had to rma that thing anyway. anyone else receive a dud?
there are two barcodes for the rebate, which one did you guys submit as the UPC? The one with the p/n and EAN (right side) or the other one with the warranty and product info (left side)?
The rebate also requires you to attach the mailing address to the front of the envelope. I didn't do that and just sent out the printout with the barcodes attached do you think that's going to be ok or will it be a problem? I hate complicated MIR companies!

I sent the one with the UPC and the part number (the UPC did not look like others with the numbers all together, not 1/5/5/1). I did not attach the mailing address, just printed it with my printer.
I have already received my rebate.

Anyone willing to bench their cards for me? use furmark and check if your temps go all the way to 105c like mine did.

Thanks for the info! How long did it take for you to receive the rebate check?

I used the "no-wait" rebate, that cost me $3.50 per card (got 2). I mailed it 5/30 and received the check 6/11.
