Not a bad deal, it's just that normally, with like fishoil for example, you would get 100 caps in a bottle. I paid $4.50 for 100 caps (BodyBuilding.com), so essentially, you're getting 20 more caps for about the same price. Like I said, not a bad deal. With the other, more pricey stuff, there are savings.

I still remember the buy 1 get 2 free price mistake a couple years ago. I'm still trying to use up all the stuff I bought.

Edit: In for some CO Q 10 and fish oil. I've read the CO Q 10 can have weight loss benefits when combined with an exercise regiment and for $2, it's not like I'm risking much.

Just FYI, that wasn't a mistake. They used to run that sale once a year, not sure if they still do.
Same thing happened to me. I had found a version of the site that was offering 70% off the list price and ordered late at night. The next day, the promotion switched to buy 1 get 2 free (but items were full price). When order arrived, I was surprised to find 3 of each item - but I was only charged the 70% off price.

They are actually shipping 100 caps/bottle for most of the items instead of 30 caps as advertised except Vit E (30/bottle)and GLUCOSAMINE CHONDROITIN MSM JOINT SOOTHER® Tablets (60 /bottle) and received 120 Tablets/per bottle for CALCIUM MAGNESIUM W/VITAMIN D.
I then checked the website with the item #'s on the receipt and found out that the actual price of all my items was around $76.xx even after factoring in the BOGO sale price!

Since Puritan is a lot of marketing, without real scientifc evidence, I'll put in my 2 cents about what actually is known to have benefits. This doesn't mean the other things have no benefit, but it means I haven't come across real significant evidence for it.

Vitamin A - skin health, specifically acne (Accutane the perscription drug and its derivatives are similar ), but use with caution if pregnant / getting pregnant
Calcium / Vitamin D - healthy bones, especially important for women and seniors
Chromium - good for type II diabetics because it enhances insulin action
Omega 3 Fish Oil - this is atually fat, but it's good fat, especially good for people with heart disease or high cholesterol
Arginine - stimulates growth hormone so it can be helpful for people trying to bulk up or younger people looking to gain some height

That being said, if you want professional advice, please go see a professional. Any supplements you take can be harmful if taken by the wrong person or the wrong amount. Doctors can consult you on how supplements will affect you and interact with other medications.
