They try to fill the cheap seats that aren't normally purchased by offering these deals.

titewad said:No one can eat $25 worth of the food they offer. Hotdogs sell for $1 an 8-pack, plus another dollar for rolls, soda $1 2-liter bottle. Eat before the game, or better yet save youself the ticket cost and watch it on TV, save the driving hassle, the parking fee and the gas cost too.

It's not all about the money. The time spent going with your friends, family. Time spent together, memories all that mushy stuff... *cue violin*

stingy !!

Why concessions are so expensive?
This is all because of A-Rod and Company demanding for Million$ of money in their OVERINFLATED Scott Bor'ass' contracts. This major league sport (and business) is loaded with ways to CHEAT the American Public....

From HGH Users to Sosa's Corked Bats to "different balls" for the new Yankee Stadium....you're paying for a farce!

MLB CLEANUP YOUR ACT NOW....Hire some true athletes and let them play without having to MARKET us with their accomplishments! DRUG TEST EVERYDAY BEFORE A GAME! LIFETIME BAN! DO SOMETHING!

Final Regets
- To the MLB Stadium you can keep you $6/bottled water on a 95degree day!

- To A-Rod...$359/Autographed Ball....come on! Can you cousin who you goofed around with get me one cheaper?

- For all the FWers who think that I'm angry...I am! I used to love all aspects of Baseball...something happened after the strike of 1994 (I was 17 at the time). MLB needed something to regain the fans (and money)...why not have a homerun, strikeout, and batting records SHATTERED. Sure I loved the Sammy vs. Mark thing who didn't SCAMMED! And who's to blame the players, MLB or BOTH?

Curios to find out what you make compared to A-Rod & Company? MLB Player Salary Calculator

I feel bloated just thinking about it.

Nothing goes together like America's "Old" Favourite Pastime, Baseball, and America's "New" Favourite Pastime, Getting Fat!

Sing along time!

Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd;
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack and sodas and hot dogs and more peanuts and another hotdog and nachos and sodas and waters and more hotdogs and some more peanuts and, gawd, I'm thirsty, more sodas, and another hotdog with nachos on top and stuff the peanuts inside the hot dog with a nachos chaser plus some more sodas and, what's that on the ground, a piece of Cracker Jack!
I don't care if I have a heart attack.
Let me root, root, root for the by - pass,
If I don't live, it's a shame.
For it's two, four, six pounds of food,
At the old ball game.

Who's that sitting beside me? oh, my own a$$.

The AA team in New Britain CT (Rock Cats) is running a $10 all you can eat promotion (1-1/2 hours) on Monday games. Hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon and soda. Tickets are $5 for a seat in a location from the field that would cost over $100 in a major league park. Of course the play isn't quite as good as at the majors, but there isn't _that_ much difference. Many of the guys I've seen in the past couple of years are now with the Twins.

Getting the entertainment value-Now that's the FatWallet spirit!

It will add to the already large obesity epidemic in the USA.

OP - you might want to change the thread title to "selected baseball stadiums". Naturally, the Mariners aren't participating - it would cheapen the "ballpark experience" which is the main reason most people in Seattle go to games @ Safeco Field.

Thanks for posting this list.

Now if only the Pirates could get a winning team to go along with the beautiful stadium, and if only the all-you-can-eat came with Primanti's Brother's sandwiches.

Goddamn, you must be fun to hang out with.
Yeah, and I park half a mile a way where it's free and walk. I'm not paying $12 for parking. And that's only if I get free tickets in the first place.

Well, I think he/she is probably just staying true to his avatar name: Titewad.

I park further away as well, for two reasons: one free parking and two much quicker to leave as where I park I generally do not get tangled up in the traffic trying to get out ballpark parking.

This deal is good If you like to wait in line.. At the two ballparks I have visted this year in the SouthWest participating this offer it does not apply to in-seat concessions, they limit you to one of each eligible item per concession stand visit and the concession stands close a couple of hours after the game starts so the lines are always long. To get your value out of the dela you have to wait in line a LOT! The real question you have to ask is are you going to the ballpark to watch the game or wait in line for food.

Yankees too, water, popcorn, and peanuts $1300.00

mrredskin said:The Braves also have AYCE seats in the outfield (no beer) and in the corner of the Golden Moon Casino Pavilion (beer). The beer seats are about $70 and NOT worth it. They actually cap you at around 120 oz (10-12oz) and the food wasn't that great. Outfield is at least $35 I think.

lol "cap" you at 10 12oz beers- I doubt it so much a cap as you are either passed out in your seat, running naked across the field, or peeing on the food counter

All you can eat hot dogs? Is that a deal or a dare, I cant figure it out.

alert mods

OP change title from "at your" to "Select Baseball Stadiums" YMMV!
