Yup. It's showing up as a mail-in rebate.
Here
How do we know it is not to be a mail in only ?The T&C even say: "Requests MUST be submitted online or postmarked within 60 days from date of purchase. To submit online go to www.stapleseasyrebates.com and follow the instructions." It's SER. Just wait til they get it fixed. |

Went to my Local Staples today (CT), and tried to buy the items using the in-house computer. Only the NAV came up as advertised. The other two items -- paper and photo paper -- showed NO rebates at all. So I just bot the 2 paper(s) direct from the store. The register did print out the two rebate forms (didn't look at them to see if they were SER or not). |

Well, the intent is to have them on the day they are supposed to, it is rare they do not. My Staples this m had an irate man also over rebates, some sort of paper and software. He returned all and will come back in 2 days, store said they will hold the items for him.

Did you use the rebate search using the 6 digit sku for the items?

I purchased a coupon on eBay from seller simongodman. $1 buy it now + 2.69 "shipping." I had a pdf by email in less than 2 hours. I used it at Staples for this deal with no problems. All three rebate forms printed out at the register. (of course not the upgrade one) The rebate prices were clearly marked on the shelves. I went to the Briar Creek, NC Staples. The seller emailed me to contact him directly for any more coupons. If anyone wants his email, PM me. I guess it might be cheaper that way since there will be no eBay fees? |

If you want to pay extra for the security of eBay that's one thing. If you want to buy directly from a seller, there are already sellers on the web for $1.50. |

But the legitimacy of the coupons emanating from those "web sellers" is sometimes questionable at best (the reason Staples recently added CAPTCHA for online coupon entry). If you've got a private connection for cheap PDF'ed (legitimate and scanned) coupons, it may be a more favorable option at the same or slightly higher price... |

Just because it's a PDF doesn't make it any more legitimate. Anything can be made to a PDF. My hunch is all the web sellers are the same. |

The capcha itself is only to slow down/thwart the bots/scripts from figuring out the alogortythms which they then make coupons from. I just used a couple 30 off 150 coupons in B&M that I bought on ejunk and the coop came up as ONLINE coupon, but it did scan ok. Im wondering if my email coops I get can be used in B&M if I can get it into a bar code style. |

I have read about cases in which the non-pdf print and go coupons are seen as illegitimate by some managers as they do not include web address, etc. |

The seller I buy from gives a direct Staples URL. I don't know what could be better than that. |

The problem seems to be fixed and you can now enter your paper rebate online. |

I just checked the URL again. It seems that I was mistaken. The URL starts with http://reg.e.Staples.ccccpn.com/. My apologies. |

Shrug, I've always printed it out with the URL. I didn't notice the spoofed URL until now and the Staples cashiers look at the coupons at lot less closely than I do. |

It is not a spoofed url. It is where cccpn has it hosted so they do not have to sit there all day waiting for a sale and then to send it on to you. It is a way for you to get it instantly.
