Pretty good price. Do note that this unit cant do a firmware download via usb or ethernet, so you'll have to download and burn a cd ISO to do the firmware updates.

Since Sony seems to want to continue fiddling with the blu-ray copy protection, you may be doing that quite a lot. Not much of a problem if you stay on top of it, but it stinks to pop in a movie and have it not play, then have to do the download/burn/update before you can watch it.

Got one in BB Pleasant Hill. They had them on clearance pile at the entrance for $139. Had to do a PM. There were few left couple hours ago.

Same price in Scranton, PA. Multiple stores in the Northern NJ area have it between $101.99 and $103.99.

Almost picked this up for $119.99 at one store, went into another one (somewhere in Southern NH) and picked it up for $99.99, no sales tax.

I had mine delivered. No sense wasting gas to go 7X2 miles just to wait a half hour to pick it up.

Works fine. I have a low end Sony surround sound amp so I selected "mixed" as the type of audio. Read somewhere you will not get 5.1 with the default setting.

Too bad it has no capability to do wireless Internet. I guess I'll have to get a 75' CAT5e cable and go crawling under the house!
