these songs do Blow, but they are free so you cant really complain, it not like you are paying for them.

So if I post a hot deal "Come to my website to download 23 songs sung by me", would that make it a hot deal?

I'd grasp your million dollars and laugh my way to the bank at you for thinking your actions mean anything

Great links for free tracks

Absolutely terrible track descriptions. They not only tell you nothing about the feel of the song, they are also basically all arbitrary

for example:

If you were smart you would get yourself to LA, rent a car, and drive East on I-10 toward Palm Springs. Once you've cleared the airport traffic, put this Takka Takka track in the CD player, set the cruise control at 80 mph to keep up with the windmill farms, and turn the volume up to 11.

This is a great deal. If you don't like the artists then simply move along. I already have 4 of these artists' CDs... Grizzly Bear's CD debuted at number 8 on the Billboard charts so obviously some people value the music.

Thanks for the heads up that they supported Prop 8. Another reason to download some music. Might get some good songs and I get to show my support for their "association" to a good thing.

gerz85 said:k0k0p0p said:gerz85 said:don't really support companies (Urban Outfitters, anthropologie, free people) who support(ed) yes on prop8.
Thx for being an informed customer. I guess you are "sticking it to the prop 8 supporters" by not taking free music. Nice job on that one, buddy. Maybe you can go stand outside the soup kitchens next and not volunteer. I'm sure it will make you feel great about yourself

they could give me a million dollars and i still wouldn't take it. it's about associations. an idea you might need time to grasp.

Thanks OP again.

On disc 5, I haven't hear alot of the bands and I'm glad I did... as I'll see a couple of them tomorrow at Pitchfork.

FYI
I was messing around with the number in the URL and stumbled all this...
http://lstn.urbanoutfitters.com/6/mp3/

No names, just tunes...
No idea if they are part of the first 5 pages.

Looks like their [Urban Outfitters] unreleased compilation.

The first song (track 1) is "The National Grid" by Bachelorette and track 2 is "Swing Tree" by Discovery

Here's the playlist and artwork

lowprice, you have stumbled on LSTN 6 before release! Attached is the song list. Muchas! Oh, and my Snagit missed most of track 25, "Where Do My Bluebirds Fly?" by The Tallest Man on Earth.

if you go here. Link and rightclick "save link as..." you can download the tracks without using iTunes at all.

You can do it for all the music samplers.(1-6) Just insert the number of the sampler you want where the "5" is in the url.

Deal isn't dead. You can download mp3 versions of LSTN 1-5 for free

LSTN 6 is available and free on iTunes or you can download the mp3s too.

You could just do this and bypass iTunes all together.

Free sampler #7 is out. You will need iTunes for this one for the time being. But in a week or two you should just be able to add "mp3" to the url to download straight from the index. It worked for samplers 1-6.
