TIA

Yes you can, and you will get 6 months no interest AND 10% off. Just apply for the Sears Charge Plus because they have 3 cards to chose from. You get a bigger limit on the charge plus.

I tried applying, but I can't seem to get the necessary card information (account number, etc.) needed to make the purchase. I called, and they told me I'll just have to make the purchase after the card arrives. The deal'll probably be over by then.

bopgun said:From the other thread about the $599 42" Panasonic plasma from Sears - go to Bing and type in "garden oasis river stone 7" and you'll get 8%.

On that other thread some have reported getting 8% Cash Back but the more recent people have reported only getting 2% Cash Back.

So I figured I'd the method to see if I could get the 8% Cash Back and there were some craftsman tools on sale on Sears that I wanted to get. Sure enough, when I searched for "craftsman" on Bing.com, I got the advertisement that contained the link for Bing Cash Back. When I clicked on it, I got the popup that said I would get 8% Cash Back before I was redirected to Sears.com. However, when I got paid for the Cash Back for the 2 items I bought, I ended up with only 2% Cash Back. Bing.com must have found out they were overpaying Cash Back on certain items and adjusted their website to only give 2%. I'm curious to find out which items are eligible for 8% Cash Back. I'd probably go for the sure thing and just get 4% Cash Back from FW. Maybe we'll get lucky and Sears.com will be the FW double Cash Back merchant of the day one day this week.

In for 1. The 10% back is a MIR. They also offer free delivery and haul-away after MIR.

I got 1 with 10% off using Sears card. The total is $1182, include tax. This is the same price as the 42" TC-SP42S1 that sale on March 2009.

Did you get approved? If yes, you can definitely get your card # by calling Sears with your social security. We do it all the time.

And if you go in store, the 10% is instant, not MIR. So is the free delivery and haul. If you buy online, everything is MIR, buy in store, everything is instant.

I've had my 50" 720p Panny for about 1.5 years. If you haven't made the plunge, buy it now and ask questions later.

How do you process the 4% FW Cash Back if you go in the store? thanks.

I am curious.. are they haul the old tv or box for free? It not really clear in the ads.

Yes.

One more thing if you didn't buy yet. I would ask if you can buy in-store because it gives commission to the sales people. Many of them like me are college students trying to make some money and dot-com orders gives the commission to no one. Just find a young chap who looks like he/she needs money. It really helps us out.

Thanks.

Sears.com 10% rebate on electronics over $999 w/Sears card
Good from 6/4/09 to 6/21/09.

I found a link to this 10% rebate form on Panasonic TVs on main web page for TVs on Sear's website. Is this the one that we're supposed to use?

Nice tv, but I'm holding out for the G10 in the 54" size to come down in price later this summer.
Hope I'm not too tempted by Toshiba's 55" LCD that also looks to be competitively priced.

I agree. I've had my 42" 1080p Panasonic plasma since Nov 2007 and I'm very happy and I actually got it from Sears using one of these similar deals.

Use the FW link to take you to Sears.com and then go to the web page for the TV and select "pick up" (instead of "delivery") before adding to your shopping cart. You're essentially buying it online but picking it up from a local store.

Trying to take advantage of this deal in San Francisco - but the delivery is $65 and it says that they will haul away the old TV for $10...

I clicked through the link in the first post - any idea what I might be doing wrong?

I think if you're buying in-store and having it shipped, the delivery is free. If you're buying online, you have to pay up front for delivery, then get it back via mail in rebate. The rebate number is H090476 on Sears website, but the link isn't working now.
