Does anyone have first-hand experience with bonded leather furniture? I know it's the new thing in leather furniture, as it's cheaper. Just wondering if it "feels" good and is durable.

As far as bonded goes, you are right, it is pretty common now a days. Some people will call it performance leather as it is built to perform. I don't think you're going to get all the characteristics of a non corrected leather hide. But those are found mostly on traditional furniture pieces.
I went to CB2 this weekend to see what they had that was comparable. They had a similar chair for $699.99 (for one chair). The dimensions might have been slightly different, but pretty close. Actually, I don't even think it was bonded leather because the description said faux leather. Honestly, I could not tell it was not leather. It was a very nice chair. As far as I know, Costco will not sell faux leather. So this makes it a step up from faux leather.
Did anyone buy the reclining leather chair (Costco item # 381820, $ 359.99) that they had recently? And how does that compare with this one? The older one looked like a better model with reclining seat / feet rest, real leather and not bonded, but the stores close to me do not have any. TIA
How many fauxes are slaughtered for one chair? Great question - i would be guessing by saying that, in this day and age, no faux fauxes were slaughtered in creating a chair.

Very true. Do you know how many fauxes they have to slaughter to make one chair?
