It was 21.99 yesterday (part of fly buy deals on zipzoomfly). I guess they dropped the price to get rid of them. expires in 2hrs after this post(it's out of fly buy deals, but still the same price) If you need a filler like me to get to the $100 to be eligible for $30 ebill me rebate, this might do just fine. I already have one of these drives (paid $27 on Newegg) and they work flawlessly.

I have both on this computer, and both work flawlessly. (the 203 for 2 years, and the 223 for 1 year) The only difference is the lightscribe technology on the 223

I believe it was the first firmware rev. that had problems. I believe later revs. made it nearly as good if not the same as the 203. For no known reason, people's real world use of Samsung's 22x burners has found that the non-LightScribe versions perform better than the LightScribe versions. SH-S222 = PATA SH-S223 = SATA B = non-LightScribe F = non-LightScribe L = LightScribe Q = LightScribe
mine finally came...clearly no UPC label, just a "product label" on the plastic bag. while the text in the middle section seems to ask for BOTH the UPC AND the product label, the last section has a colored line that says OR, so I'm assuming we're good with just the product label. Obviously I'm making copies and going to follow this one more closely than others, and be prepared to argue with rebate house and zzf. Fortunately, its only $15, so for most people if you don't get it, it isn't the end of the world...
