People like you are why I have been a member for 6 years and rarely post If you dont want/need it keep your mouth shut maybee someone here will get one and be greatful. You must be a very miserable person to post such a remark.
I know its ridiculous your just trying to help people out and they come in freakin out that its already been posted, thats fine, I don't think your "cluttering" too much with a simple post. Some people need to chill out. Good post regardless if it was a repost or not.

I couldn't agree more austinsec! Just did a quick search for all the deals posted by fatsac and the total number is zero! Perhaps he should spend less time posting crap and more time hunting down a good deal!
FatSack said: REPOST Home Depot .01 cent thread. You've cluttered two forums with this garbage.Yes, as a lesson to all future posters, you should post HOT DEALS in the DEAL DISCUSSION forum. Also, you don't have to put the product name in the title - the price and store is enough as I'm sure people will know what product you posted.

Here is the receipt and tag Dead link. Could you repost it please? Maybe attach the file directly to this post instead of a link to that other site?

Awesome! And perfect timing. I need one. Thanks OP! Going to HD for other things and won't hurt to try for this. Question: would it be more efficient to install 2 of these in a push-pull configuration (one each at opposite-facing gables)?

Perhaps he should spend less time posting crap and more time hunting down a good deal! It's typical of what I term the "Drive-by Red'ers." They contribute NOTHING to the site other than thread craps. Usually they don't even have the nads to post a reply at all, so I'll give fatsac that much. More deals and useful information and a lot less leeching and bitching...

When I installed mine I put it so it blows out on the hot (sunny) side of the house. That way it pulls "cooler" air from the shady side through the attic and blows it out on the hot side. I don't believe a push/pull configuration would be as useful. Although, I suppose you could install two fans that blow out on two different vents. You'd have to be sure you have enough air intake from the remaining gable vents and soffets.

For those in eastern Contra Costa, no clearance prices at the Pittsburg or Brentwood stores. They have 5 units at Pittsburg but for $217. Item sticker on shelf has purchase date of 9/8/08. No units on the shelf at Brentwood but also full price. Purchase date there is 2/9/09.
The OP may be the only one to get this deal. I've done a lot of the 1 cent deals and finding the products is always very difficult. Home Depot employees are supposed to pull the product off of the shelves when it's marked down to .01. For most people it won't be worth wasting your time driving down to HD.
However, if you have a few hours to kill, and you can find a remote terminal to price scan things inside HD, just grab a lot of products with old price tags, and start scanning. I've found a few nice faucets, and a toilet paper holder.

I cannot find this post of which you speak. Got a link ? Or are you thinking of the HD 1 cent thread ?
In Maryland the gable is still regular price at 217. I guess it was a local clearance.

here is the original FW thread that announced they were on clearance over two years ago. Shortly after they were posted in several HD 1 cent threads. Between those most of these were gone long ago. Unless HD resocked and maintained the same HD SKU which is not likely you will not find one now.

Thanks for posting austinsec. As for cnIsfg, get your facts straight before bashing. Everyone should know by now that HD clearance deals are not the kind of thing you jump into your car and drive around like a maniac. Just write it down and check the next time you visit your local Home Depot.
MISURICK, since you are the only other person to find this deal, which state are you in ?
