Central michigan. Just ordered online with online chat. 19.99 for 12 months. no fee self-installation. She offered 19.99 for 6 months with 24.95 fee first, . Rebates2Riches said:SE Michigan. Called today and was told the deal is now $34.95, and that this includes basic tv, which must be bundled together... 6 months at that price, then $57.95. No commitment. Turn on for self-install of $24.95 $15.00 more if they need to come in and install a jack/outlet. |

For folks who got it using chat or from Jimmy in bay aread - did you get free modem from Comcast or you have to get it on your own? |

tried really hard for this over several days in Jersey City NJ, but did not work. they wanted 6 months for $19.99 and they reduced installation/activation fee to $9.99 because I was self installing and had my own modem. they recommended i call the # on the ad to get the price on the ad. total bust; I went with Verizon DSL for $19.99 for 12 months instead. Slower, but I can deal with it. |

Elk Grove - CA called and asked about their deals, they didnt have this one. So I said that I saw a flyer that a comcast rep gave me which says: "internet for 19.99 and digital phone for 19.99, he was upgrading something at my GF's appt and he gave that to us when he saw us. I'd like to get that deal please." Rep told me that he'll have to look into it, 5 - 8 mins of hold, comes back and says "oh yes it's part of our special promo, I had to do alot of searching and looks like it's there but I cant give it to you, I'll have to transfer you to another department that handles these special offers." I'm like: "ok please do". 5 mins later i have double bundle pack - internet (15mbps with powerboost) and digital phone (unlimited) for 39.99 so expect to have them do some searching, it's in their system however looks like they have to work for it and so do you. good luck. |

I tried a few times to get this deal and no dice. They want another service tacked onto it to get that price. When I try to do the chat, it says... We apologize that chat for Michigan is not available as a support option. Alternatively, you can telephone us at 800-COMCAST (266-2278) and a Michigan customer care representative will take care of your question or concern. If your inquiry is of a less urgent nature you can always email us and we'll get you a response within 24 hours. |

I called from Portland Oregon, was told I could get 6 months of 12mbit @ $19, but had to buy basic cable for $10.50. I will try again later to see if I can get a lower speed for a longer contract. |

I just got the deal over online chat. They couldn't waive the installation fee on online chat, but I called up after I placed the order and they can let me do the self install. I already have my own cable modem so there is no need to send me anything else. Thats great news. This deal is very YMMV. I had great luck over online chat and bad luck calling 3 different times. The reps would not give me the deal calling them. So use online chat first if you can. |

I've had HSI through Comcast for some time, I was paying $42.95 plus $20 to get up to the 50mb tier (Docsis 3.0), Online chat rep got me down to $19.99 for 6 months (not sure if I'll keep the 50mb tier or not)... |

I just signed up with this promotion through the online chat link on 11/18/2009. Terms: Kansas City area new customer $19.99 for 12 months + $19.95 installation fee 6mbps no cable tv I mentioned I saw the ad from the original post in the Kansas City Star. There was an additional $19.95 installation fee (originally $40 but the rep said he discounted it for me.) I didn't fight too hard against the installation fee since this deal was far better than I found on comcastoffers.com and other referral sites. The previous "renter" at my address just cancelled her service a few minutes before I signed up. After 2 phone calls and 1 online chat they would only offer her $34.95 a month for 6 months with a 12mbps upgrade. |
