How does the GigaByte Radeon HD 4350 512MB 64-bit DDR2 PCIe 2.0 x16 (Newegg, $15 AR AC, Expire 6/30/09) ($29.99) compare with this one for a home theatre. I am not into games.
ASUS EN9600GSO/HTDP/384M GeForce 9600 GSO 384MB 192-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card - Retail $34.99 after rebate.

Which one do you like best? I like the Asus better. It is a higher end card and probably better performing. It was sold out for a while so it is a keeper if you got one. On your motherboard question, the Asus 780G EM board would make a great HTPC setup. If you are a purist, you would buy a high end sound card for playback.
