I have seen this special price for a while. The original price was $42,325.
It's a fully equipped 300HP coupe. I personally love it, but it's too small to fit my family.

Linkool

It's on sale from Autohaus BMW in St. Louis, MO.

no nav/gps, definitely not 'fully equipped'

I kid.

How anyone can think that is a good price blows my mind.

Good deal to base a lease cap rate on. I came out of an M5 into the 335i sedan and love it. It's small but so light and tossable. I can't imagine how much fun the 135 would be!

These cars only make sense to those who appreciate driving however. To the average person, they look at it's size and say "$35k for that? I could get a full size Tahoe for that money..."

These must be alot of fun, but Im gonna wait a couple years til the lines look more like the 3 series. Its a little oogly right now.

Hot. I'm in for 5.

1-series is a joke!

The 16% discount off MSRP is good on a Bimmer, but that red interior?
Ewwwwww!!!

When are they going to get rid of "i?" Isn't everything fuel injection right now?

BMW also makes diesel engines and differentiates the two by using the 'i' and 'd' designations.

For whatever it's worth, the 135 is a REALLY fun car to drive! I actually just got back from BMW's 2-day car control school in South Carolina this weekend, where I had the opportunity to track the 335i, 135i, M3, M5, X6 and 650i. Our head instructor told us that their second fastest lap time on one of their tracks was the 135 (second only to the M3).

Personally, I couldn't drive such a small car as a daily driver. I'm holding out for a 335i in the next year or two (hopefully with the new dual clutch transmission).

It's also worth noting that, with about $350-600 of tuning software (e.g. jb3), you can get some pretty impressive power gains from this engine. Though 3rd party tuning software/mods can also come with their own set of headaches.

the hatchback is totally hot. I haven't seen one available anywhere USA

and really fast

The interior looks effing ugly. I would rather get a miata- more fun for less $.

OP are you affiliated with the dealer?

pass.

bmw + auto = true poser

why do people who cant afford one call people who can, posers?

I keed, I keed...

Rented a hatchback 1-series 6-speed 120d a couple years ago, HOT HOT HOT. I would totally buy that one, screaming up the Pyrenees at 160KPH and get overall ~50mpg was awesome!

The one series is just flat out ugly...and I like most all their other cars.

Been in one. Its a go-cart.

this is an affordable Bavarian MW

It's a rear wheel drive, which is a big disadvantage. No good during snow time. Price is very high.

Uuummmmm, oowwkkeeeyyyy...

I'm guessing that jkmat is not a part of their target demographic either.

You want fun and good looking -- a 2007 M Coupe with 16000 miles (still under warranty) NADA is about $30k. 135 for 35k is a joke.
