I just saw an ad for this same deal in Boston.

anyone have a link...or scan of the ad?

If you're interested, call them. It's being broadcast on TV all over the place.

Note: They're charging a $79.90 "One Time Starter Fee". So see if you can get it waived. This is in the Washington, DC area. May be a deal-breaker.

Similar offer in Boston, except the Cash Back was $200 when I saw the ad on TV last night.

don't know why anyone would red this post. good deal in my book.
just signed up in Wyomissing, Pa. via live chat. $200 Cash Back. $79 installation fee. $200 early termination fee if cancel before 12mo and $100 if cancel after 12mo. DVR is $8/mo. oh, you need to rent their modem for the phone-$3/mo.

the rep said "professional" installation is required so i told him that i'm a "professional installer" i have installed many things in my life. but he said it's "part of the deal"
so it's $200 CashBack minus $80 CashBack to comcast.

I called CSR from Nashua, NH this morning, they said I'm not eligible since I already have cable/HSI with them. This deal only for new customer.
Stupid Comcast never pay respect to their loyalty client.
Swithcing to FiOS soon.

Tried a CSR in Pittsburgh. No go on this deal if you are an existing customer. I may have to switch to FIOS too.

Is there anyway around this? Are there independent Comcast dealers willing to sign existing customers up to this deal to keep them from switching to FIOS?

Bay area comcast reps and sups are awesome. They have definitely helped hook me up with different things vs having to talk to the outsourced reps.

Go America! haha =)

Just canceled Comcast due to cable box (DTA) requirement to watch expanded basic. They will not miss me, but give me a break.
I know others that did the same.

I'm an existing comcast customer (San Pablo, CA) and I called the number on the flyer 1-866-812-1322 to ask if I am eligible and they signed me up. Only cost me $25 setup fee since I already had cable and HSI, otherwise the cost is $25each...totalling $75 installation fee. Phone was installed this saturday and the service is up and running.

I was able to get this (current Cable subscriber) with a $100 credit in the Seattle area. Right after talking to them on the phone I went to the comcast online chat and was also able to get Showtime for free for 6 months... asked if they had any free showtime promos and the rep said yes and signed me up (this is the second free for six months that I have recieved in a row).
