LegOfAhab said: Note: They're charging a $79.90 "One Time Starter Fee". So see if you can get it waived. This is in the Washington, DC area. May be a deal-breaker.
the rep said "professional" installation is required so i told him that i'm a "professional installer" i have installed many things in my life. but he said it's "part of the deal" so it's $200 CashBack minus $80 CashBack to comcast.
I called CSR from Nashua, NH this morning, they said I'm not eligible since I already have cable/HSI with them. This deal only for new customer. Stupid Comcast never pay respect to their loyalty client. Swithcing to FiOS soon.

Tried a CSR in Pittsburgh. No go on this deal if you are an existing customer. I may have to switch to FIOS too.
Is there anyway around this? Are there independent Comcast dealers willing to sign existing customers up to this deal to keep them from switching to FIOS?

i am an existing customer, but they still gave me this offer.
Just canceled Comcast due to cable box (DTA) requirement to watch expanded basic. They will not miss me, but give me a break. I know others that did the same.

I'm an existing comcast customer (San Pablo, CA) and I called the number on the flyer 1-866-812-1322 to ask if I am eligible and they signed me up. Only cost me $25 setup fee since I already had cable and HSI, otherwise the cost is $25each...totalling $75 installation fee. Phone was installed this saturday and the service is up and running.

I was able to get this (current Cable subscriber) with a $100 credit in the Seattle area. Right after talking to them on the phone I went to the comcast online chat and was also able to get Showtime for free for 6 months... asked if they had any free showtime promos and the rep said yes and signed me up (this is the second free for six months that I have recieved in a row).

Isn't there also a charge for the phone line (911)? I thought it was something like $3-5/mo. Nickel and diming start adding up quick.

Hi, you can contact me at 408-595-1474 or email me at jimmy_pham@cable.comcast.com
Shot down in Troy, MI. Basically current subscriber to TV and Internet. They said if you are existing customer with only 1 service you can get this package. I'll probably switch to Wide Open West since they have a similar offer for new customers. I wonder though if Comcast doesn't change their offer when you call to schedule a disconnect?
Tried both 800 Comcast and my local office, yet no such offers for existing customers in Atlanta, so they say. Amazing that with licenses from the state/city/county how they can manipulate the markets and effectively shut out other customers, leaving them with few other choices. ATT...when are you getting your Uverse system pushed out throughout Atlanta all ready!?!?!. Tired of being manipulated for my television services.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is a $200 rebate associated with it and appears to be nationwide except as noted in the email txt. This was delivered to me in South West Florida. If anyone do here wants to sign up, PM me i'll do my best to help
Every year, I have to do the same song and dance routine with Comcast at the end of the yearly promotion. I have basic cable with the HD package and starz + comcast internet (16Mbps) and pay $79 monthly. But my current bill jumped to $141 (WTF). As usual, I called the cancellation department and mentioned that I would like to cancel given my bill had almost doubled. The Comcast rep was friendly enough and to make a long story short he ended up signing me up for another year but the price for the same package is now $59 + tax and I also got free HBO to boot. I cant understand who decides their pricing tiers when the same package can go from $141/month to $59/month.
Next round of negotiations in a years time. Sigh.
That's why they are rated one of the worst consumer company
some comcast retailers are offering $100 each cask back for all three services. I do have comcast basic cable and hence I may not get $100 for that. Please suggest whether I should call comcast or their retailers. Also AT& is charging me $28 for phone (we don't make any long distance calls) and $25 for DSL. With tax, I am paying about $59 for phone and DSL.
Got a nice deal (at least I am happy) for one year.
$75 for all 3 (Digital Starter Package, H/S Internet + Phone) + $7 for HD Channels + $3 for modem
Is this a good deal?
I've got Qwest for DSL and phone, and was looking in to doing the Triple Play, but a Comcast on-line chat rep told me I'm ineligible for the package because I've already got digital cable. Is that actually correct, or should I try again?
Sorry to dig this old post up, but I signed up with comcast due to this plan from the mailer as well and when the bill came it had me on a more expensive price and now they are saying this deal never existed. I have spent 3 hours on the phone with multiple managers trying to clear the situation up and although they tell me the deal expired on july 27th and I signed up in the window during which the promo was going on, apparently I "requested" to pay $20 more a month for the EXACT same options and 2 year agreement... If anyone has the name of this deal that would be awesome, or a scan of the promo as I threw mine out already .. At this point I am ready to cancel service at all 3 of my residences and just go with ATT. Thanks!!
