Remember that most USPS post offices have the 10% off coupon (that now expires in October 2009) right in the free movers guide.

Well now you don't have to leave your home to get one

I haven't had any luck getting a coupon using this page recently...can anyone confirm that this has worked for them in the last couple of weeks?

If you sit at home you will(may) get only one. If you visit the post office you can pick as many as you want.

Yes, I received one this week (took about 3 days to arrive). They will only send a coupon to a particular email address one time so create a "throw away" mailbox.

I use a different email (and physical mailing) address each time but the same domain (which I own). Perhaps they've blacklisted my domain...I'll try a different one.

LOL. I have used these several times over the last year. Do you think they will question me moving 8 times in a one year period?

I've never had any luck at getting these coupone via emial or snail mail. I'm glad they're back in the post office!

I've had great luck having Home Depot honor these. If they are 1-time-use, copy them and take them to Home Depot. Since they can't scan it, a manager just reads it and manually gives me the 10%

Local Home Depots around here stop accepting email coupons, but take the Post Office ones.

now a days Home Depot taking all coupons...even email.. before that they use to deny internet/emails coupon..down economy

Do they have an expiration date on the emailed coupons?

I second what a lot of people did and just went to the post office. I grabbed 10 packets. But to be fair, I really did just move and need all of them to fix up this house.

Actually I am finding my local HD being very strict on competitor coupons, even legit moving one's. I've talked to the manager and says he is no longer accepting them. So maybe the manager can override the general policy to honor competitor coupons.

Anyone else finding similar issue?

A heads up, I signed up for this a few weeks ago and got the coupon, and yesterday they emailed me a $10 off $50 coupon. Check your mailboxes.

Is there a Lowe's nearby? If there isn't, I wouldn't expect Home Depot to accept them. If there is one nearby, which usually there is, you just say "please accept my Lowe's coupon for stuff at your store, otherwise you are forcing me to take my business to Lowe's". Just make sure that whatever you are buying at one store is also available at the other store (apples to apples), and that you are willing to leave a cart full of stuff at the register for some poor schmuck to put back (job security for him/her though).

As for the deal, this is nice, but the post office mover's pack is great because the coupon looks more 'official' and you can grab multiple packs at once without having multiple email addresses.
