I bought this for $100 from Amazon a few weeks ago. It's an okay radio, but it went out of production last year. It will not accept SD cards higher than 2GB. I had to return my 4GB SD card

I agree with the poster above. Junk. I bought one on Woot for $100. The recording quality of it is horrible and in mono. Only one schedule for recording. If you're color blind for red you will not be able to read the button's nested functions. It does pull in radio quite well though.... mine is going on eBay soon.
Oh, one more thing....in relation to the mono thing....with headphones on it plays in FM stereo and mp3 stereo....so why couldn't they allow it to record in stereo?!?!?
If this had single side band (SSB) reception on shortwave I might be jumping on this. But I see no mention of SSB in the owners manual or the specs. Anyone know if it has SSB reception on SW?

Green to OP for overall value based on MSRP. But, looking at reviews at Amazon, this looks like a lot of trouble. Even at $55, I don't need this.
