ABOUT The Campaign
The "Are You Doing It? Reminder Campaign is the annual Feel Your Boobies campaign focused on our mission of utilizing unexpected and unconventional methods to remind young women to "feel their boobies".
What exactly does unexpected mean? Well, it means you probably won’t see a “feel your boobies” brochure at the doctor’s office…but you sure as heck might pass the Boobies Bus® on the freeway, or you might be laying at the beach and see an airplane towing a banner with our logo or maybe a sticker on a light post and if you’re on Facebook, chances are you’ve seen our flair or badges floating around.
"Feel Your Boobies" may seem simply like a fun and provocative slogan, but it's really our way of asking “Are You Doing It?”® – well….are you?

Not to spoil the party here (I usually subscribe to this type of thread for entertainment purposes), but I have a hard time getting behind this. I don't see much other than a provocative way of getting the message out there. I didn't see any research funding, just that it's a 'service' to get the word out about early detection. I'm more inclined to support the Komen Foundation, and have done the 60 miles, 3Day walk to do so. Komen funds research for the cure and gets the word out remarkably well.
Just sayin' there are better ways you can support boobs.

Carry on.
Before you go nuts proclaiming "Komen", search for how much of the money they collect actually gets passed on for research / prevention / treatment.
The amount is shockingly small, after all the PAID sponsorships / advertising / and OVERHEAD they claim is necessary...
I've been supporting this site for a while now. I've had two of their magnets stolen off my car, had to replace them. I do so love the scandalized looks I get from uptight old women who think it's just downright crude to have something like that on my car.
I think I might be in for a hat this go around! lol

I don't consider it to be shockingly small, but YMMV. Report (pdf) on the 3Day Walk below.

72% seems reasonable to me. Maybe you have another source? But it'd have to be substantially lower for me to be suspicious. I mean, sponsorships, advertising, and overhead are necessary even for charitable organizations.
How sad that a thread on such an important topic degenerates into juvenile playground humor here. Apparently, none of you have had to deal with the reality of breast cancer!

Actually, both my grandmother and aunt had bouts (and both survived )

Having said that, lighten up..
my mother has breast cancer and she is offended by organizations with slogans like this. i guess i can see why. it does get off topic quickly. i wouldn't wear this slogan, but to each her own.

My grandmother had breast cancer and kicked its ass, but that doesn't mean we can't smile either. As a matter of fact, that seems to be the EXACT point of this particular awareness campaign!

I didn't know anything about this organization, however it seems to be well rated, do you know of any sources that contradict this?
