Damn, I wish US-Appliance had the TC-P54G10 for price cheaper than Amazon. This price is REALLY good though so I might just jump on it anyway...GREEN!

Dammit, the same TV was $1450 just weeks ago, and that was without the Bluray playa! I talked my bro into buying one back then... Could have saved some pennies for him...

Regardless, fantastic deal on probably the nicest picture out there!

hmm. these days i like samsung led tv. plasma is good too but it uses so much power and heat. im also worried about burn-in.(because my old tv looks like burned near right corner). i owned plasma before and i think lcd/led tv is much better in my opinion. but price is good for plasma. so its your choice.

Plasma is actually still better these days, at least in normal, semi-light controlled rooms. In the bright lights of your local Best Buy, lcd will almost always look better because they can output more light in their 'vivid' mode, but if you leave it like that at home, you're going to experience severe eye strain because it will be much too bright. And when you try and dim it down some, you'll lose the contrast advantage because lcd's still suffer from "black crush". Shadow detail is still king on the plasma, so props to the OP on this great deal!

Not sure why megamands negged this post. Maybe because it's better than the deal he posted?

nice one, OP. this beats the best price that Amazon had on these by a good $100 (now almost $200).

Huh? Free shipping but $30 diesel charge? WTF??? There are a lot of horror stories on eopinion.com . Can anyone vouch for this company?

so tempting, but I'm holding out for the 54" G10 to fall in price.

Looks to be okay, unless you''re in a hurry. I wouldn't have a problem with ordering from them if you're using a credit card(to dispute, if needed).

here's resller's ratings page on them:

You're comparing a probably several years old plasma to the latest and greatest LCD technolody...obviously a flawed comparison. Heat and power usage is down significantly, burn in is not an issue anymore, and plamsas are generally much better than they used to be. I'd buy a plasma over any LCD in a heartbeat.

This beats EPP price as well. So what is the catch.. can't help thinking along those lines.

I don't understand why this isn't greener. A post for the same TV from Amazon a few days ago was hotter than this and the price there was over $200 more. Are people concerned about the seller's rep? I jumped on this...been in the market for a while.

Yeb, I would jump on this if it's from Amazon or Newegg. Also, they don't put the estimate ship date for the player.

I would jump on this on a heartbeat if it was on Amazon... Amazon's $130 more right now but that might be worth the difference for peace of mind. the rebate's available on Amazon too so the total price could come down to $1100 if you could get $200 on eBay or CL.

Just pulled the trigger on this one. US-appliance is owned by ABC Warehouse which is a great B&M store in Michigan. I have full confidence in them as a retailer.

Ordered over the phone this afternoon, recieved email invoice for delivery next day if all goes well Im happy abc down the street said they owned them but could not match the price ? I could have picked this up but had a few storms in Michigan today. Will leave an update friday Thanks OP
