So I just got off the phone with the folks over at buydig and the rep told me that my order will come in 2 maybe 3 separate shipments because they have a few warehouses. I asked about the invoice and he said although the shipments will arrive separately, the invoice will show all items ordered and as well as the date the order was placed. Since I placed it on 6/26/09 at 11:59PM pt. My invoice will show 6/27/09 2:59AM et. He said I could expect the smaller items to arrive first and that the shipping company for the TV will contact me shortly and to expect the TV within 7-10 business days so 2 weeks. So far so good but I've never purchased from this dealer so I hope everything goes smoothly. It sucked having to be on hold for almost 10min on a Sunday morning. Sheesh' I bet its worse during the weekdays. Anyways, that's my update. |

You may also want to document the transaction online at resellersratings.com for others as well as yourself since buydig does participate in online reviews when there are issues. http://www.resellerratings.com/store/BuyDig_Beachtr |

erdong77 said:us-appliance requires you to cancel within 48 hours: US Appliance Return Policy Orders can be canceled within 48 hours of placing the order without any fee. Any orders canceled after that time could be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To cancel an order, call us at 1-248-364-0700.
For buydig, you probably need to call them early as they ship pretty fast, and I am pretty sure you cannot cancel it after it is shipped.
So, plan carefully.
Thanks for the heads up. I saw their 48-hour cancellation policy but since they don't work on the weekend I knew there was no way they wouldn't accept a Monday cancellation. I just called a few minutes ago and verified that assumption (didn't even want to try to get them to pricematch since I already had a charge from the Saturday buydig purchase). Now for the waiting game! PS - I read on one forum (highdefjunkies) that there's a firmware update to somewhat rectify the 48hz flicker in 24p mode... sigh of relief! |
