Just saw the commercial advertising "the deal that made us famous is back". 5 regular roast beef sandwiches for $5. I haven't seen that deal in many years. It's been $5.95 for quite a while.
C320 said: Didn't they change that to juniors with cheese, melts, for the 5.95? And now they are going back to regulars for 5? 5.95 was for Juniors. I haven't seen this deal to confirm the size. .95 cents savings won't get me in their door - the beef was VERY fatty the last couple time my family ate there. If it is the regular rb for 5, then we will try again.
The melts are regularly what is 5 for $5.95. Regulars have creeped up to around $3.00 apiece when not on special so this isn't a bad deal at all, especially when combined with the free sandwich survey on the receipt.

I went pescatarian a like a year and a half ago. 5 for 5 makes that decision seem terrible. Maybe I'll have a potato cake.
isnt what used to be regulars now larges or something? I think regulars shrunk...

That's a good deal for a quick (fast food) bite to eat. The best roast beef IMO is at a local place in Woodlawn, MD called Pioneer. The place looks like it's about to fall down but the beef is so tender.

That is the one thing about Arby's that frustrates me. There is little consistency between the individual restaurants and the promotions. Most other fast food restaurants have franchise wide participation. Not Arby's. Having said that, I still like Arby's because they mail out the coupons and make my lunches cheaper, plus tacking on the free sandwich receipt w/survey is great. Survey only takes 3 minutes.

I wish the Arby's here mailed out coupons or had those free sandwich receipts. Went there the other night and had the Roastburgers which were so bad that we returned them after taking a couple bites. They told us they only come with 2oz of roast beef on them.
Cleveland Ohio : Deal available in various locations, both east and west. These are full sandwiches normally sold for $2.79 each, which makes a saving of $8.95 per bag or 64%

I agree, if this deal is on the regulars, its a good deal. They ruin the sandwich with the melts, IMO. I will check this area (Delaware)for the deal. I havent seen the advertisement though.
