You know, he really went off the rails in the last 20 years but Thriller was an amazing album. A lot of my elementary school age memories have that album as a soundtrack. RIP.
RIP Mr. Michael Jackson. May the family and his children have the support they need to go through this. Regardless what one may think of him personally but professionaly he is one of America's legends. God be with his family and bring them peace.
The Passing of a Titan... he was, is and will be the greatest entertainer of all times, for ages to come. One of the highly misunderstood geniuses, may his soul be free from torment and rest in peace, at least now!
I'm sure that many many folks of this generation who are between 20-40 feel the same way I do...that they just lost a little piece of their childhood. I wasn't his biggest fan for the last 5 years, but that still did not stop the tears. RIP MJ. Thanks for every single awesome childhood memory you gave the world. Hope you moonwalk your way to eternity.
Regardless of his tarnished personal life, he was a talented performer and musician.
RIP Michael.

His stage charisma is second to none even though he hasn't sang live for many many years. Check out the girl at 2:24. I watch this Billie Jean performance many times for the funky bass beat and MJ's live performance.

Why is this a hot deal? Looks like this is the standard Amazon price to me. See price history
I am so saddened and shocked to hear of his passing. May God have mercy on his soul. I for one have been a HUGE fan of MJ since I was a toddler. I still remember when Thriller just came out. He was truly a unique and talented artist.

Lot of playback and background singing - I question if he's even singing at all. Look at ~6:30. He's holding the mic at his side but it sounds like his voice on the playback. Some good dance steps, though.
This is a kicka$$ performer, showing just one of his talents. Forward to 3:30 so the rest of the guys don't put you to sleep: Link to a LIVE performance
Your great songs will be remembered forever. Thanks and RIP Michael.

No Say, Say, Say? That's one of MJ's best (with Sir Paul, of course).
I'd have expected MTV to put forth some kind of tribute to MJ, but they've turned into a miserable third-rate pile of crap. I remember when they aired MJ videos and news snippets about him almost constantly.
RIP MJ. We'll miss you, but you're in a much better place.
Saw him im the UK in 1988; incredible perfomer. He should have died tragicaly at his peak and let us remember him that way, remember him for his music and his performances. Everything that followed just tarnished his image and he must have had so much sadness during that time.
grew up with MJ songs. One of my fav signer. I was shocked. RIP

Michael's music has been such a part of my life, growing up and now as an adult. Despite all his legal troubles, there is no debate he was one of the most talented musicians we've ever had. His sudden death is a shock and he will be missed.

When are they ever going to release that CBS 30th Anniversary Special concert on DVD?
My girlfriend's daughter wanted a MJ greatest hits CD a few months ago, so instead of this one, I suggested "The Essential" since it came with 2 and 3 CD's worth. Amazon sells both. Somehow I think we got the 3 CD version at WalMart for the price of the 2 CD version. The Number Ones one leaves out too many good songs, since it's "only" the number ones.

PS: I guarantee you there is no playback on that. I'm not sure why everyone gave you red, since he is lip syncing. I think he usually lip sync's Billie Jean. So not really live per se.
