FYI... if you know anybody who lives in Chi-town, the public library has passports (free admin for 4)to the museums you can check out for free (for up to 1 wk). If you need any info on this or recommendations for places to eat, let me know. Cant go without an Italian Beef or stuffed pizza. Ill be making the rounds....lots going on.... |

Millennium Park Family Fun Festival Presented by Target June 3–September 1, 2008 Daily, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Chicago Children's Choir - Target Free Family Concert in Millennium Park Thursday, June 12, 6:30 p.m. June 12 is Friday in 2009.
Yeah, I have a feeling this information is outdated. Another example is that the address listed for the Philadelphia Please Touch Museum is the old address. It moved to a different address several months ago.
It might be wise to call before you plan your trip. According to ExploreChicago.org, Target's Family fun Festival is June 10-Sept. 3 this year (2009). So yeah, the info is technically slightly outdated, but most of it is still valid. The Field Museum in Chicago has the same dates for Target Free Days this year. Definitely check the websites/call chosen destinations before assuming free day! |

Well there isn't one where I live (Idaho) but I'll be heading back to my hometown near Seattle this weekend. I might have to take advantage. Thanks for the heads up! |

Very cool, been looking forward to seeing the Asian Art Museum in SF. I thought someone sponsored 1st Sundays at one time but taking a day off from work is a bonus. |

I checked out a museum's website and in their event calendar they DID list Target free day. Awesome find OP. Agree that it will crowded and some museums might have been cheap anyway... but this gives me a reason to spend some time with kids. |

I tried to go to the NYC Museum of Modern Art in April on their Target sponsored free night and the line was over 3 blocks long to get in. I suggest getting there very early. |

Just for anyone who doesn't know. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that is mentioned in the OP is in Cleveland, OH not Cincinnati, OH. Quite a big difference there. |
