Found a good deal at Nordstrom Rack on Oakley Sunglasses in Chicago suburbs, YMMV. I found a couple pairs of nanowire 2.0 and 3.0 at Nordstrom Rack in the mens section, not w/ the womens, selection varied by store (naperville store and oakbrook still had the 3.0s today) These retail for about 300.00 They had other styles as well, these stuck out as they were polarized and I liked the 2.0, included case, cleaning cloth, warranty card, etc....all Oakleys were 69.99 specs Store also had all body glove sunglasses for 9.99 (said retail was 40, not sure about that) and some Armani Exchange, larger mens selection than usual but they were going fast

i have one and paid 250 for it... they are nice sunglasses

I'm loving them for the price, yesterday there were 3 pairs of 2.0 and 3 tables of glasses at oakbrook, today only 1 table and no 2.0's (still had 3's) Luckily found a pair of 2.0 at naperville (they had 1 more pair and a few 3.0s as well as of 5 pm today) note that the nanowires do say nanowire on the inside of the frame on the right side, also the case that goes with them is the "bullet" Oakley case, pretty slim...none of the correct cases were with the right glasses when i was there

Oakley makes the shades that transform a tool...

Is this markdown nationwide?

I don't know how Nordstrom Rack inventory works, more than 1 store in the Chicago area had a shipment of them (which I think arrived Friday judging by how fast they sold in a day)

thats an awesome price, i have friend that works for Oakley and the cheapest he gets them for regularly is ~100
sometimes they have crazy sales for their employees and theyre only 20 but not very often

if some can buy me a pair, I'll gladly pay the shipping + some gratuity =D

got it- you'd hate for the kids to think that you'd lost your cool....just pointing out that the nanowires look different than say these , to each their own...and some styles like that were in store

WTF ?!?

confirmed at some other Nordstrom racks, so not just regional to chicagoland

I could use some help as well

Woooo, just called Nordstrom Rack about 30 miles from me, and they have some in stock! Oh snap gonna go pick them up.

The Dulles, VA store just has fugly chunky ones. There was an empty box for the 2.0 nanowires. GRRR.

I wouldn't recommend calling first, since all that does is alert the staff of the great deal on the very few they have in stock.

The first rule of Fight Club is the same for FatWallet.

Is it only at the Rack stores or has anyone seen them at the regular department store? I have never heard of Nordstrom Rack and as far as I know we only have a Nordstrom dept. store near by.

I was at the one in East Palo Alto this morning. They had a table full of Oakley sunglasses and hardly any customers.

went to the chino hills store and they had a whole bunch of the whiskers, a few of the fugly nanowire 3.0, and no more of the other 2.0 or 4.0. and hardly anyone was biting, then again, not many know that the shades are way more in retail.

did you guys see there's an "M" imprinted on all of the glasses? Does this mean they are re-certified or something?

yeah. noticed that on the two that i bought. still pretty good deals. don't buy the nano 3.0, they're really fugly.

The downtown Chicago Nordstrom Rack has a couple of pairs of the 3.0's and a bunch (like 15) of the pewter Whispers (model 12-781). When I asked the checkout girl about Oakley cases she said that they were all out of them but they would let you choose from whatever case that they have. The price is the same as previously mentioned, $69.99 ($77.14 after the insane Chicago taxes) which is not that super of a deal. This model is available new with box and warranty on the web for $125 shipped. They also all have a very tiny "M" scratched in near the hinge. I picked up a pair but may return them. The Nano 2.0 for $69 would have been an awesome deal. The Whispers aren't bad but they are not polarized (even though the lens look like they are) and the biggest negative for me is that the lens look like they could possibly pop out. I have had issues with lens falling out of expensive sunglasses and now look for lens attached directly to the hinges like the Nano 2.0.

The Body Glove sunglases were almost all broken so you really are getting a $10 pair of sunglasses.

Went there too yesterday but only found Bodygloves on sale.... Asked a clerk and said 'everything we have are on the table'.

May I know where did you find it?

TIA

Looks like you cleaned my store out. I wish I still worked in Brea *sigh*.

Sweet!!! My wife found 3 different whiskers (brown, black, flat black), and 2 types of nanowires. This is in Fresno. I'm sure none of you live here.

Thanks OP!

Same for me. Had a bunch of whiskers though and a few other odd pairs...kind of wish I would have went earlier in the week...also the nicer cases were gone :'( If someone could get their hands on an extra pair of nanowire 2.0s, hit me up!

If anyone can find some I would pay shipping and a small fee....let me know.
Thanks

if someone can pick me a pair, i'd be happy too.

pm me

If I can get a few people who want me to pick up a pair, I can go back. I currently have a pair of whiskers and dark red flak jackets with clear lenses (but have the titanium iridium coating on them), but they had a lot more whiskers, a pair of gascans, and a pair of hijinx still there (possibly another style but I can't remember). They also had Armani Exchange glasses for sale, body glove, diesel, and some other brand.

Edit: To make things clear, only the dark red flak jackets have clear titanium lenses...the whiskers I have are more of a warm tan tone lens, non titanium, they also had more multicolored ones for sale as well.

PM Sent, looking for a pair of Whiskers, polarized titanium if available.

Went to 3 Chicago suburbs Nordstrom Racks today.

Northbrook:First store I went to. They had 1 pair of Nanowire 3.0's (not a style I like, wanted the 2.0), and it had a small scratch on the lense. They had several pairs of Titanium Whiskers with the Red Iridium lenses for $69.95. I wasn't planning to get Oakley's with a colored lens... but WOW. In person, these things look amazing -- almost like the ultra-rare Ruby Juliet. I saw someone else buy 1, and I bought 2. They had a couple pairs left, but they both had minor scratches/scuffs on the lens. They also had a couple pairs of Whiskers with Brushed Chrome/Tungsten Iridium Lens.
Schaumburg: Several of the same Titanium Whiskers with the Red Iridium lense. However, all had minor scratches/scuffs on the lenses. I probably would have bought another, but I already got them from Northbrook. They also had the Oakley Radar (plastic frame).
Naperville: Worst selection of the three. No Oakley's left at all-- FW effect?

It was my first experience in a Nordstrom Rack -- great store overall and they have some good deals on brand name clothes, etc. Some stuff was overpriced like cologne. As for the sunglasses, make sure to carefully check the lenses for blemishes. Thanks OP.

To my amazement, it was marked at $34.97! Looks like I bought the nanowire 1.0 polarized. The item was tagged wrong as when it rang up, it was marked as North Face. Didn't get the case or soft cover as the lady could not tell what brand the glasses were, but hey, a pair of Oakley polarized for $35, I'm not complaining...

The O at the hinges didn't give away the brand? lol. Either way, great deal for a pair of glasses that use to be $300
