Costco has two no catch, no restructions, no expiry, AMC movie tickets for $15.99. Regular tickets cost $10.50 each. This offer is at stores only so YMMV (not online). I got mine at my Costco in Clifton NJ, dunno if its at all locations. No Catch No Restrictions No Expiry I guess you can purchase any # of ticks......

As always, the value of these deals may vary depending on market. Tickets around me are $8.50, so you save a dollar, but you also have to stand in line to buy the tickets at Costco and stand in line again at the theater instead of being able to use the self service terminals and skip the line.
Also, these tickets will not work on 3D and IMAX showings as they're more expensive.
We usually pay $5 for AMC tickets online (even saw Star Trek on opening night at $5 apiece), but if these work for 3d movies it might be worth it. Those are much more expensive.

Even the crappiest small towns dont have $5 movie tickets on first run movies.
Our Costco has $15 thing that's 2 tickets at Cinemark theaters and I get them all the time. In this area, movies are at least $10.50 so it's a pretty good savings. At least for the cinemark one, it specifically says it can't be used for IMAX or Digital 3D. When I tried to use it for a 3D film anyway, they told me I can but I had to pay the difference (which was $3).

We have a "fair" theater that gets first-run (release night) movies and has matinee tickets for $4.50, and two mega sized sodas and a popcorn are $10.50. One Wednesday it's free popcorn day...or was it Tuesdays...not that I ever make it there in the middle of the week.
Then there's the REAL theater that runs $9.50 and up ($8.50 matinee) with the huge screen, stadium seating, and more expensive popcorn bundles.
Yes, movies are crazy expensive. It doesn't take long to build your own home theater if you would alternatively be hitting the big screens.
Costcos in SoCal area have both AMC and Regal tickets (I think Regal are a dollar cheaper). It's a great deal here since all movies cost at least $10+ normally, a buck cheaper for students, and maybe it would be face value for a matinee. For the last few months, I never go get a movie ticket at the theater. IMAX and 3D movies generally require a surcharge of the difference. But the good thing is they don't expire, and are good even for big opening night movies, so as long as these theaters stay in business, they can still be worth a movie even when they bump up ticket prices some more.
$10.50 for a movie?! And I thought $8.50 was a rip around here. Luckily my work sells the $8.50 tickets for $6 each. Just can't go to good movies the first week as they have restrictions.

au contraire mon frere... let me introduce you to College Station, TX home of Texas A&M University Cinemark and Premiere Cinema theaters both with $4/$4.50 all movies all day every day with any student ID, about a dollar more without, paying upwards $10 to see a movie is a joke

You can use these tickets for 3D, you just have to pay the difference at the counter.

These Costco tickets saves me $2-3 every time.
