And very short return policy: 14-day return period We accept returns or exchanges 14 days from the original purchase on computers, monitors, notebook computers, projectors, camcorders, digital cameras and radar detectors.
A couple of reasons I don't shop for computers at BestBuy.

I bought this for my son at BB. It works flawlessly. I paid $385 in May 09. This is a great basic computer. He is on the net all the time and loves this laptop.

Please, make your own thread.
Plus, OP's computer should be eligible for a free Windows 7 upgrade (a $50 value). An upgrade to the one you posted will cost $50, raising your cost to $350, exceeding the cost of the OP's computer.
I thought that only systems that come with Vista Home Premium or above qualify for free Windows 7. OPs OS is Vista Basic.
FrugalFreak said:The processor is better + another 1gb ram on acer. but the warranty is 9 months longer on Toshiba. Your AMD has a single core 1.6 GHz processor and the OP's has a single core 2.16 GHz processor. The warranty is 11 months longer, not 9 months.
If it is so great, then start a thread and share it. Don't try to hijack someone else's thread.
I think this Toshiba model was advertised in the circular last week as $350. For some reason, its price got reduced, and a new Toshiba model with faster celeron is priced at $350.
I guess it decreased in price ($350 -> $330) because of Windows Vista basic and slower celeron.
The screen on the the last Toshiba laptop I bought went out in about 10 months . I want glad that I bought a machine that had a 1 yr warranty ( local warranty repair too ) .
Saw this at WM 17 " 3 GB 160 HD $398 Hope picture comes out
