Abes Of Maine has the Sandisk 4GB CF Extreme iii cards for 34.59 each + FS. The sandisk rebate currently out saves $10 for 1, $30 for 2, and $60 for 3. They also have a coupon of $10 off (LOYALTY10) for over $75.
Also use FW CB for an additional 2% off (savings of $.69/card). Makes this $10.57 each after CB. Live.com has 2.5% CB but they are notorious for canceling it when using a discount code so Use that at your own risk.
Time for another round of rebates, I've updated this post with the best current offer, will keep this updated.
As you find others, post them here and I can update.
Attached rebate links for both the Ultra III/IV offer, as well as the Ultra II offer (they have different promotion numbers). Also attached fillable rebate form for III/IV offer

Use bing Cash Back which is another 2.5% to make it cheeper
see my note about Bing in the OP. FW Cash Back is 2%.
I have used Bing in the past for these sandisk rebates when buying from Abe's and beach camera (and used $10 loyalty coupons) and not had CB voided, however the recent Ritz Camera deal I used bing and my CB was voided.
Before anyone boasts about how they got it cheaper some time ago, note that flash memory device prices seem to have bottomed out a few months earlier and have now reversed course with noticeable increases. These are the best prices as of now. If better prices appear, they'll certainly be posted...and prices will definitely decline in the future. Just not necessarily soon. It seems the excess inventory has been absorbed by the market and now manufacturers are able to raise prices.
Too bad it isn't a rebate check. I wonder if there's anything quick and dirty I can do with the prepaid visa rather than trying to con the cashier at chevron into using it to fill up my car a couple times.. which you're suppose to actually be able to do without a debate

Some stores will let you split the payment over two different cards. If you find something nice at a brick & mortar store, you might be able to use the gift card and give yourself an additional $60 discount.

My Recent Ritz camera still says pending. Will keep my fingers crossed.

These work great at grocery stores and Target. You can tell the cashier how much is left on the card and they can charge that amount. Just did it with 2 cards last night at Target-- had $1 something left on one, and $7 something on the other. No problem.

Well, unless you put the money into savings (difficult to do with a prepaid Visa), you're going to do something with the money such as paying a bill, going to the movies or buying something. Whatever you buy with it is going to effectively "remove the savings".
If somebody buys 3 of these cards for an effective cost of $9 or $10 each and uses that $60 rebate towards a $100 media player (thereby only paying $40), then he just got $205 worth of products for less than $135 minus any Cash Back incentives. Not a bad haul.

Your math is right in your latest post, but the way wrote you wrote earlier translated to "~$30 AR for the cards and $100- $60 for a player..."

Oh, that's what you meant. I was going with the basic assumption that a FatWalleter wouldn't buy something at a B&M store unless it cost less than what he or she could get it for online. That probably means that some kind of sale or discount was applied to the item and the $60 card would provide an "additional" discount.
