I always wondered if this was a typo. Wouldn't the tv be 60 hz and not 600 hz? If it was 600, why would anyone spend more for a 120 hz tv?

I have the 50 inch version and love it. Enjoy


It's not a typo, Plasma tv's have a much higher hz spec. LCD is a different technology so fast action scenes like sports @ 60hz on many sets can cause a lag or motion blur. I guess they want to confuse people who are unaware to make them think 600hz on this set is far superior to a mere 120hz or 240hz on a Plasma, but that isn't the case. Plasma and LCD both have their benefits but once you get to 120hz on an LCD you really don't need anymore. 240hz isn't gonna do anything better then 120hz, but it's now become a marketing gimmick.
