I assume you have gotten them to take multiple coupons, so it is probably confusing enough that the cashiers do not complain. One downside is that the self-scan registers do not take the extra coupons, you need to go to a regular cashier, or go to customer service afterwards.

Could anyone advise how the upgrade works? I am already a Gold Star member. Should I purchase ANOTHER Gold Star membership certificate from OP's link and bring it to Costco to get an upgrade? When I selected "Upgrade to an Executive Membership" from that site, it always considers me as a new member rather than an existing one and charges $100.

how about upgrading an existing business membership to executive? will this work?
