To get such price, I have to buy online with Fandango or at theatres as well? The price of UP-3D at lincoln center is $6 as shown in Fandango. I may save the surcharge if I could get the same price locally. |

Thanks, wouldn't have looked. AMC Manhattan by Port Authority on 8th & W 42 has tons @10 am. Rem old days in North Miami when had 2 films just a month old for $1 in summer time before 2 pm. Place was packed. Cannonball Run and Oh God! made for a heck of a group date. We were just back from Europe where papers full of stories about Mid East freaks blocking doors of 'western' movies theaters than torching it. Could hardly concentrate on Oh God! thinking the end was at hand. lol |

calguy77 said:No offense but this deal has been going on for years in Los Angeles. Is it just starting in other parts of the country? It's been going on here in NJ for at least a couple of years too (probably longer than that), but it used to just be on Fri, Sat, Sun, and I think maybe Wed. It's $6 at the theatres here. I think regular tickets at my local theatre are $11.50 now. Needless to say, I go to the early showings whenever I can. (And on Sundays, which tend to be the quietest day.) |

Great deal. Wife and son went and saw Ice Age yesterday for only $4 each (11AM show). They used a free Fandango buck for $10 to get in totally free. Also, I found a coupon on FW for a free Lg popcorn with a Lg coke purchase. So the total out the door was only $4 bucks!!!!! |

Is this any different than matinee pricing? Seems the same to me...? Oh nm, it's a couple bucks less than matinee... it's ridiculous how "matinee" pricing for LA/OC is around $9-10!!! |

3D/Digital movies are +$3. Also, don't forget AMC allows outside food/beverages. Last time I went I walked right in with my 44 oz. beverage ($1) from the gas station across the street with no problems. |

I don't believe AMC does student prices anymore. And this is nothing new. AMC has always done this. The only difference is that it used to extend to all showings before 4:00...now it's only the first showing. |

Seems like this varies by market. In Metro Detroit, it's all shows before 4pm at $5. On holiday weekends like this one, they only go 'til noon and then jack the prices to $7.50. After 4pm, it's $10! |
