Meritline is legit.
I have purchased multiple things on eBay from china, and it is surprising how they can pay for shipping. Apparently it is inexpensive to ship. I wonder if it is subsidized by their government (which would make their businesses more competitive).

Thank You

Company's headquarters is actually in the City of Industry, California.
I've made a few purchases from Meritline.com in the past few years, mostly cheap items such as flash card readers, flash drives, etc.
My orders were shipped from US. Now they started shipping SOME items from Hong Kong.
It is trusted seller indeed. They used Yahoo checkout system in the past. I never had an account with them but now, when I placed my ordered, I was prompted to open an account.

Meritline already has their own checkout system and take not only major credit/debit card but also PayPal. And we all know that paying via PayPal
is safer and better idea.

Their products' assortment and website layout reminds me a lot SuperMediaStore.com
Both, Meritline and SuperMediaStore are headquartered in the City of Industry in California.
I think both companies might have the same owner. They import most of their inventory from China.
I had very positive experience with both of these online merchants.

I think they have standard design.
For example, I tried to swap trackpoint caps of IBM ThinkPad T23 and HP Compaq NC4200. They fit fine.

I think these red caps should fit any laptop that have a TrackPoint.

LOL, whenever I see this kind of comment, I can not keep from laughing.

As a matter of fact, if you have been there, you will find the States is more like socialism compared to the so-called "Red China".

From the pics it looks like they'll all be of the soft-rim/dish variety? But that's good, if we're getting all of one type for it to be that one. Even though the domes are nice when new, the dish actually stays usable longer than the others after their texture's worn off. But every time I've bought them in the past, it's been three packs of one each- soft rim, hard & soft dome. Either way this is an incredible price.

B.T.W. anything experience anything similiar to this? I'm actually trying to use the trackpoint as little as possible lately. Because despite being the most precise control of any pointing device, after years of of using them exclusively (every computer at work & personal), I think something neural is happening from the tip of my finger into the back of my shoulder from it. So I'm trying to refrain as much as possible now, toting a mouse with my notebook etc. But some situations there is just no comparison. Not only precision, but when you're typing & jumping from field to field, no moving your hands out of position over to a mouse or down to a touchpad etc. It's right there like another key. But actually I think the strain happened when I got addicted to online billiards & overdid it. Trackpoint was a huge advantage in that game. So between now conservative use & how much I just stocked up, I should be set for life on these.

Thanks O.P.

I bet these aren't Lenovo made, if that matters to anyone at this price.
In for four; thanks OP.

Well, what did you expect from excessive use of trackpoint?
Do yourself a favor just buy and use wireless mouse.

I very seldom use trackpoint or touchpad. They are not comfortable.
Your productivity will be higher if you use mouse.

I always had mice, either with retractable cord or wireless, to use with my laptops.

Nothing beats the mouse. LOL

Right now, when I work on laptop I use Kensington SlimBlade mouse. Great mouse, but not impressed with its scroll ball.
Can't beat its claimed 6-month battery life though.

I think I know what you're talking about. I get a weird feeling in my finger, like it's almost numb or something, and yet kinda tingly. I don't feel it all the way up my arm though. My assumption was that it was over-stimulation of the tip of my finger, or maybe some kind of muscle strain from using the trackpoint so much. I'd avoid it for a day or so and the feeling would go away. Also, switching to the rim style trackpoint worked out better. That way I was more pressing down on a corner rather than pressing and dragging a bumpy surface.
