Seems like the offer actually ends in 7 days, if you read the fine print.

I wonder if you can combine the $200 promo with the Sunday ticket promo, among the many other promos they tend to lump together?
I got this deal a few months ago http://www.aaa.com/aaa/215/discounts/retail/partner/directv/index.htm and then I got refer a friend on top of it. Wonder if u can combine with AMEX now and get all three.
Is GoSooner's something where he is benefitting from the code?

Just checked and they are $10 per month higher than my Dish sub. I'm paying a grand total of $64 per month for 200 + HD, and that includes locals, and DVR, plus Cinemax for a penny (courtesy of FW!). DirecTV is $65 per month plus $10 for HD. My reason for switching from DirecTV to Dish several years ago was Dish's insistence on making me pay $200 up front for the DVR.

I can't figure out their new web site. I was logged into my account and seeing my programming details. It appears they may have raised the total cost by $10, which would make them the same as Direct if I'm interpreting it right. I thought the whole point of competition was to lower prices, not so both would charge the same. My DVR is a 722, the 622 is an older model.

Nice, should be combinable with the $100 refer-a-friend. Don't think you will be able to combine with AAA deal though. Love my directv!

i know this is not the place to ask but i dont know where the right place to ask is and i would rather as a fellow fatwalleter then to go elsewhere. im about to put in an order for directv and would like to take advantage of all the offers possible.
1. CashBack from fatwallet 2. AAA offer 3. referral from a fellow fatwalleter
i dont think i can use all of these in combination with each other but i would love to get the most for my new contract. does anyone want to PM me their account number so i can say i was referred by them? i would also appreciate any tips before i place my order for Directv HD DVR service

Tried applying for the AMEX Blue Sky, and was denied primarily based on one delinquency one my first Capital One card in December 2005. Temporary lapse in checking account statuses = no AMEX til 2012. Does anyone think that canceling the negative card would remove the negative mark? I know that credit histories are eliminated upon canceling, so would this work?

No it wouldn't. Cancelling a card doesn't remove the history from your report. I thought late payments fell off after two years though.. unless you were seriously delinquent
